Springtails

I use autopot and noticed a massive infestation of springtails in each tray. The plants are just about finished so im not to worried but I was wondering if there is something I could put in the res to kill them. Also do they lay eggs? Would it be a better idea to harvest then spray insecticide in each tray.

A few drops of wetting agent or dish soap and they'll fall straight through the surface and drown as there's no surface tension with them added.

Fwiw they're beneficial to have around and cause no problems.

I've read they eat decaying matter, spores and bacteria and shit out fertiliser.
