Sprout Question

Hey RIU. So I have four seeds, 2 feminized snow white and 2 white rhino. Sadly I made the noob mistake and forgot to label them as this is my first grow.

The first two were planted on Saturday after germination and one of those has sprouted. The other two took an extra 12 hours or so to germinate but I put those under the light early Sunday, and one of those has sprouted. So right now I'm at 2/4 and its been 3 days give or take.

My question is - How long should I wait for sprouts before I give up on those and plant more? I don't want to waste seedlings.

Sorry if this is a noob question, I don't really remember reading about it anywhere but in the guides. I'd rather have a reply from a real person and not an old guide or what not.

Thanks

i would think that you should see something coming up in about a week or so.. i would wait a maximum of two weeks, and if you still don't see anything, i would think they are gonna come up and go ahead and try again..

Give them 7-9 days to crack then I start investigating with a toothpick looking for a taproot. If I don't see a taproot after 9 days I start another 1.I start my seeds under lights and get good germ rates the warmth of the light usually does it. My friend dosnt do it this way and he's lucky to get 2/10 to sprout. It sucks to lose a 15$ seed but its part of the learning process. Start with bagseed and practice germing before you risk anymore beans. Good luck
