Sprouts seem to have some issue.

I wanted to check to see if these are issues and if they are how to deal with them. This is a picture of one of my sprouts. I'm curious as to what the white powdery stuff is on top of the plant; none of the other sprouts have this. As well are the stems supposed to be this purple because all of my sprouts seem to be this purple? I'm using a 2x2 8 bulb t5 with 6400k vegging bulbs. They are in rockwool cube and just transplanted yesterday into half Fox farms ocean forest and half Fox farm light warrior. They are about 5 days old from sprouting. The temp is about 80-84 during the day and goes to about 73 at lights out. I'm using ph water at about 5.8 to 6.2 right now because i herd rockwool tends to make the ph higher.

Don't know, but I want to find out.

not sure either, looks like a healhy little sprout tho. might be the begining of mildew? i dont know best thing keep an eye for a couple days and dont overdo anything (water)

I'm having a serious issue with my water. I have to water almost twice in a 24 hour period. They get completely dry and start keeling over.

What are you growing in? You shouldn't have to water that much.

rockwool cubes, just transplanted into soil half FF ocean forest and half FF light warrior. My light seems to be drying them up.

All the way through? Or just the top couple inches?

white stuff for 500 please.

I was researching and I think the purple stems and dark leaves is due to a phosphorus lock out. I think i have been giving them too low of ph. I'm going to up it next watering and see how they react to it.

If any one is still interested the white stuff is just little hairs. Plant defense against bugs. Go DEFENSE!

The yellowing is due to the low ph and if you dont get it 6.5 the plant will deteriorate.(same with the others 6.5) ,and the white stuff is mildew from the excess watering and high rh, only water if the pot is very light to lift. Fix the ph.

i have two little purple stemed sprouts also. they came from the same bagseed. think it's a strain. i wonder if they will stay purple throughout the grow or turn green later on. sub'd

Bro its mildew not "littlehairs", and if you keep watering 2x a day the others will go the same way.

See my thread. "Cartel Weed". My stems are absolutly dark purple and the rest of the plant is becoming so as well. it is very easily affected by cold weather.
