squirl cage question

I just got a 180 cfm squirl cage fan with the 4 inch adapter. i just put 4 inch duct hose on adapter end and ran the duct out a vent that goes under porch. is that right. I have it in my flowering area on a table. i don't know a lot about it. it seems like one end suckes in air and blows it out the 4" duct to outside. I guess what it does is gets the stail old air out right? where is the best to mount it. i see some people mount them on reflectors but my 400 watt light system is just a bat wing no vent port. also i could not afford co2 tank so i bought a little prpane heater that puts out good co2 right? I saw some crap on you tupe furmenting yeast and sugar in gas tank with tube going in cup i did it but i thought the propane heater ran for 5 10 min every few hours would be better. So then how long before i turn the squirl cage fan on after i turn prpane heter off.

You have your lights backwards it seems. I mean you have TWO 400w halides for veg but only one 400 hps for flowering. Normally it's the other way around with one smaller light (250w halide) for veg and two 400 hps's for flower.

How are you planning to grow? I would use one halide and one hps for flower in your case and maybe find something that needs less power for veg if your bill gets to be too high.

The squirrel cage fan you just let hang towards the top of your grow, heat rises. A couple bungie cords to hang it will keep it quieter than hard mounting it too.
Sounds like you may have WAY too long of an exhaust line, but if you are stuck with that you may need a beefier fan. Actually I bet you that fan is too small no matter what for 1200w of lights.

wrap your inline fan in some sort of insulation with duct tape around it hung from bungee cords in your grow room kind of beside your light... that way it'l pull heat off your hps and out of the grow room and push it outside... (hear rises) always place your exaust near the top, or liek I like to do .. by your light..

i only got 6 plants in flower thats why i got 1 400 watt high pressure sodium in that room. i got 2 400 watt metal halides bercause i got over 30 plants in veg area. so just put bungies on blower and hang it from ceiling by hooks i gues by lights?
