I asked about it, and you said some dude already offered to buy it.... so I didn't pay for it because you didn't let me ;)


& Yes. I like clear basic glass/domes... i don't care if they come that way when glass blowers buy them.... I don't have the equipment to make them, I only need one... your not making/selling any, kitty isn't selling any clear ones.... I like clear.... so yeah. I'm going to spend $55 on $5 worth of glass... convenience is a luxury these days.

And to reiterate..... yes.... i'm ready to get that blue dish.... granted nobody has paid for it, and you want to sell it... :eyesmoke:

as a customer, ... i would raise an uproar in the glassblowing community before i would give it to "hype" and pay those kinds of prices.



i bet they are "triple blown".

ur not paying just for the name,ur paying for years of experience behind a torch! SG is boss and ur gunna love that tube dude trust me!
i disagree about glass blowers laughing,they know how the game works!...alt and most other head shops buy glass dirt cheap then mark up 200-300% if anyone is laughing its them..it sucks,but if ur not in with the blowers or have some kind of connect then ur gunna pay the same price as everyone else,nothing u can do about it...

fdd-can i see some of the dishes u have for sale,or what ur $10 domes look like? lol cause if their as clean as a basic alt dome then idk why u cant get ppl to buy them...most the alt domes dont say shit, some just say ALT on the joint....just write fdd on the joints with a ti pen! seriously though sign me up for $10 domes!

i have stood in the garage next to them, they are my friends, and they are LAUGHING.

i have no reason to hate. i'm looking out for YOU ALL.

those prices are RAPE.

glass is typically marked up by 100%. i sell to shops and that's how they all work. i get 35 it goes on the shelf for 70. i can come back next week and check their honesty if i don't trust them.

i'm in the "game", i know what's up. ;)

i don't claim to be anything and i charge 30 dollars for a fully worked dish. :)

i guess in a few years i can bump that up to $150.

i apologize to everyone here who may have taken my words in the wrong manner. i meant no disrespect.

i sat in a garage one night and watched my buddy (i won't name names, but if i did you'd know him) pull 65 dollar dishes off the end of a clear tube for hours. he literally laughed every time he dropped one in the kiln. even shouted out a little "cha ching" while doing it.

glass blowers are notorious for hyping up their products. if you don't believe me research "triple blown".

As I mentioned, I will pick up a clear 18mm dome setup from you when I get my new glass. It will take a few weeks though. :)


if choose to make them that is! & don't make them just for me ;)

i will ONLY make what i know i can get rid off. i'm tired of carrying around a bunch of glass in my truck. i take my case everywhere and it's getting heavy.

i can make simple clear domes and male to male straight fittings for them. just specify size, overall length is most important. i may be able make glass nails to fit them. but nails really bore me.

i can guarantee nothing. i claim to be nothing. some of my best work sucks. i may simply fail all together. i'll do my best though. :)

FDD are you using glass..quartz...or titanium for your personal nails? (if you even use nails)

i use an oil spoon when i work on the torch and a curve/skillet/bubbler at my desk. i do not use domes and nails. my buddy gave me a titanium nail, i used it a while, then gave it back.

I think i know what curve your talking about... the fishey one? man thats so sick i'd love that for oil :eyesmoke:


The Ti-Nail isn't the answer to everything... but it certainly works well and isn't breaking anytime soon :lol:


I want a nice oil curve like you have... the coral just blew my mind. Like I said ive been fortunate to dive around the world in the last 8 years and I would love to be reminded of that every time I dab some oil :eyesmoke:

To the end user, such a piece would certainly put a dent in the bank... which is why it's kind of in the far back on my list of things.

that piece is what got my all wound up. my buddy should be getting 1000 of dollars for those. i doubt he is though. simply because he doesn't "glamorize" himself. i think when a few elite artist set prices like that they cut the throats of 100's of lessor artists.

I need to see these $10 dollar dome setups you speak of haha. If the domes are straight you can put me down for a 18/18 for a 90 Degree joint forsure. The dome would have to fit my Highly educated V2 nail though. on aqualabs site it says there 1.75" inches tall.
