don't for get im in soil a fert free soil also. soil you can get away with just useing the bud blood. you can use others if you want just cut it in half. now hydro youare going to have to lower your nutrients.

morning all.. hows it going
alright brotha man... i know your soil is fert free.. but there are still nutes that are tied up in the soil once you start watering... the soil acts as a buffer zone.. so some nutes are absorbed by the soil and held while some are used.. but hell.. you know this.. no point in wasting my breath.. or fingers.. whatever.. lol
i really would have been worried about using just bud blood tho.. hence the light nutes.. the EC is low... like .4.. which means a PPM of 400 or 600 depending on the scale.. in that general area...
now i am confused on a couple things...
you say i can use others if i want?? other what exactly?? if you are refering to the bushmaster stuff, it is actually different than bud blood.. bud blood is a flower stimulator/kick starter.. all bush master does is stop vertical growth in the plants.. which means bud sites build on top of one another verse a couple inches or whatever apart... they work 2 different things in the plant.. i just wasnt sure if they could/should be used in conjunction with one another.. or if bud blood did the same sort of thing by limiting stretch do to a faster flower onset?? your the bud blood man.. so i have to lean on you for your total experience with it...
also... when you talk about lower nutes.. do you mean throughout the rest of the grow?? or just now?? i can understand doing it now.. especially at the transition between veg to flower.. but if you mean the rest of the grow, why?? does bud blood also boost the use of nutrients by the plant allowing for greater results at a lower ec/ppm?? again your the man here.. im just pumping out the info... lol

so what i am going to do is this.. i am running the bud blood until friday... this will give 5 days of running the bud blood... i think that will be long enough..
then when i switch the res over im going to throw in the bushmaster for a week..
this way i can get the benefits of both without too much worry of frying my girls...
but really.. there hasnt been much stretching right now.. im hoping maybe i vegged them enough and have enough light that they dont stretch much... but it has only been a few days... (can see bud sites showing already tho)
getting a camera today.. going to have pics up tonight or in the morning..

have my first hit of bad news today....
2 of the 16 large girls are doing something similar to what those weird plants did my last grow..
i flip to flowering and they start to sag/die...
im going to give them a day or two to recoup.. see if its just stress from the flip... but if they dont bounce back im going to pull them..
neither of the two are extremely great plants either that i would miss.. but still.. i wont be happy losing any of them...

im not really really worried about them if they dont pull through.. i could use the extra space for the others to spread out...
on the next run i am going to cut back to 14 girls anyways... and have fewer sites on each available feed line.. make it easier to move them as needed with less worry of hose kinking...

alright.... so good news today!
1 of the 2 girls made it through and has recouped... i hacked her up right at the switch, essentially i lollipopped her... must have stressed her out bad.. shes good now... the other girl is still.. well... deathly looking.. im going to cut her down if she doesnt recoup in the next day or so..
i am going to run an experiment with the autos... typically the last week of flowering i would cut back to 1/4 strength nutes for a few days and then flush a couple days with plain water and florakleen... this time i am going to run straight through on full strength nutes.. and just give them 48 hours of plain water.. ive been wanting to try it to see how much the flush is needed... figure now is as good of time as any with the autos...

Great vid. Hopefully you had just switched to flower... maybe bring ur lights up another 6 -12 inches and boost them to the full 1000w per. You got plenty of lumens for that area so you can just beam all of em with all 4 lights at 12 inches or greater. Wall-to-wall sea of green there. Smooooooth.

not sure how much you read back so ill catch you up just in case..
the girls that were under the floros in the video just go out of hand... to the point i couldnt even get back to the spot i started the video in... so i ended up switching the rooms all together...
now i have all the autos under the floros finishing up.. they will be coming down super bowl.. :
