Hey guys, been recently making these:
and they are fine for 2-3 days, but they slowlyyy start to melt.
ive tried winterizing in the freezer for a week using mid grade, brownish buds, then letting it filter/drain in the freezer and all that. evap for a day or 2 naturally, then into the vac chamber for 2 or so days at 120F. ive also tried vac at 140F which made the bees take 4-5 days to melt, not just 2-3 at 120F. so that seems to be helping.
is that the trick? to vacuum at a higher temp?
ive also made oil with very nice kush, the golden oil, with butane only, no winterizing. then vac at 120F. this golden stuff is more stable than the brown winterized oil... why?!?! is it strain specific?
also, the golden bees.... I got 3.9 grams return from 14g of bud.... 29% return AFTER vaccing for a day if I remember correctly! nice.
