Stable CBD strains

Hi guys,

I'm starting my first grow although I've been consuming for the last 15 years. I like my herb with some CBD in it (~ 1:1 ratio), as it mellows out the high a bit. After some research, I found out that CBD strains are not as stable as "normal" strains, but maybe I'm wrong. Can you tell me a bit about your CBD strains? Is it better to wait until the strains are more stable? What about the taste and yield vs. "normal" strains? I see JOTI has 2 strains with more CBD (I would like to support Canadian breeders if possible) and Dinafem a lot more.

Thanks a lot and have a great day everyone!

Most of the Guys and gals i know who grow, are now growing CBD Strains, even the Commercial growers ,most of the crop is CBD.Its where the Money is ,i tried some other day and it was brilliant loved it ,It was called Charlotte's Angel from Dutch Passion. Its the only one that has ever got me thinking that is going in my garden,I ordered a pack they come today ,gonna pop a couple soon in next week while i have room in veg for one plant. And they have hit the nail on the head in there write up about it saying it is hard to write down how it makes you feel ,you just feel better ,everything seems better ,even if its a job you hate .Its not has bad.But i'm hoping i get the same pheno they had ,but the grower i got it of said the seeds are normally all ways pretty good .You can tell a good strain when a close friend only gives you a small amount we normally give each other fair amounts.

You will find most cbd strains from good breeders are pretty stable,I was in the same way of thinking about Autos ,but shit, they have come a long way in last 5/6 year, since the first few 8 gram after months of growing lol.Dont just get caught up in the Cannatonic ,and the older ones.there still good but I was after one that would be good for Oil and hash .I know that the CA is tasty, but so is Medi Haze,I ain't tried them but been told that Jack herer cbd from greenhouse seeds is good too.I was wanting a low thc has low has possible, for the reason I can use just cbd during day,but add a small amount of high thc strain like GG#4 ,say 7 gram to 3/4 oz o cbd charlotte's Angel, means I can still do my normal thc grows ,but I have meds I can use during the day, where I don't wannabe be stoned, and oil does have a good high to it,more so if your not used to it.

I didn't grow any so I cant help with feedback but I found that Sweet seeds has a lot 1/1 ratio, delicious seeds has a few and MM genetics.
Early bubba from ace is around 4% THC.

Thanks guys, I definitely check some of these out! CBD crew seems to have some legit herb. Will give them a shot first. Also, some guys (hemp depot) told me that pure indicas are almost 1:1, but most I've checked out don't have any?

I grew dwc Lucas maxibloom with dyna silica as ph up if needed, that’s all. SCROG. No issues growing at all, it was a pleasure. No huge stretch. Great yield off one plant (around 4.75 dry if I remember correctly, maybe less, but it was suprisingly my biggest yielder) It was 1 plant of 4 under a 1000 watt hps in a 5x5. tight compact buds. Easy trim. Buds dried yellow brownish, the color is a little bit of a turn off, no bag appeal color. I think it tastes a little lemony but most buddy says it’s like cherries. Just a light fruity taste. I grew it as a lark but it is probably my favorite thing I grew this year (12 plants over the summer) and I kept a mother of it. I actually only did 1 fem seed out of the pack so I’m going to run the rest just because next year. You can smoke a couple puffs and it just makes you feel optimistic and relaxed/upbeat. I am a lightweight and I feel I could actually go out and interact with people and they wouldn’t be wiser. I have some pics somewhere and I will see if I can dig em up off my ig account

I am currently running Mothers little helper from cult classics and have two packs of the candida-1 to run at some point. I also received some critical cbd freebies with the Candida-1 order. I will be getting them lab tested when the time comes.

Cheers :)

I just harvested that strain also, and I love it! It feels like a sativa without the parnoia.Your right about the bag appeal, nothing to write home about, but the high is great!
