Stadium vs. bucket aeroponics.

I'm new to aeroponics and I have a question I couldn't find anywhere else. Do you find a tiered/ stadium setup or a flat/ bucket setup to be better?
I can see positives to both. The tiered placement stops plants from blocking each other's light but I'm worried that there won't be enough room for the roots to grow in the pvc pipe. On the other hand, I can easily see how light blockage can occur once the plants start to grow in a bucket system, but the roots would be able to grow nice and long.
Thank you in advanced for any and all help in this issue.

hello MG I have done a grow similar to what urban grower suggest except I grew in aeroponic 5 gal buckets with 800 watts light 2x400 hung horizontally in a 6x7 room floor space allowed 9 plants lollipopped at 2ft tall then turned 12/12. problems I had with the aeroponic grow were res temps getting to high causing pyrithium or root rot. also the amount of veg time seemed like forever ( veg time was in order to get the plants 2ft tall.) yeild off this grow was amazing almost 2lb. Because of the res temp problems I decided to go dirt. I am currently growing stadium style in dirt and besides the time it takes to water I am very happy i believe I will exceed the previous yield. and in half the time because there is no veg time. (clone, root, flower) with the stadium style it allows for much more plants 64 to be exact. same 6x7 room but now 4 shelves on either side. I havent even filled the top two shelves and it looks like i should beat the previous yield. as far as hydro vert I have no experience. But thats my two cents.

....
Why not put the buckets on shelves in a stadium/coliseum setup and have the best of both worlds?
