Stainless Bucket for Bubble

I woke up last night thinking about this. The idea of ice hash is to keep everything really cold, right. So why not pre-cool a stainless steel bucket and make the bubble in that? I found them under Milking Pails (g), the one below is a 1 gallon, they come in all sizes.

You think this would make any difference?

NO You allready use so much ice the temp's not a problem but still a good thought....if no ice available and only real cold water would be usefull! jack

no dude, i use a copper bucket. keeps coldest temps you can imagine, and makes more full melt than you can believe

i make moscow mule bubble

Wouldnt a glass bucket be the best? being an amazing insulator and all, i just started workin a torch I wonder how hard it would be to make a 1 gal glass bucket (boro could for sure withstand stirring w a spoon so don't worry about breakage)

I worry about copper leaving a taste. Have u had issue with that? Also, have u done a side by side batch done exactly the same way with a plastic vs copper bucket? Results?

i'd need a lathe to make one my self but for optimal insulation i believe glass bucket to be far superior to any metal and obviously plastic

Why not put the metal bucket in a large container full of ice before you even fill the bucket? Do it like an ice cream maker would, it tastes delicious.
