standing leaves

I just wanted to know what would cause fan leaves to stand almost stright up? I noticed it does it when the lights are off and when the light come on they slowly go down but when the light goes off they go back up. the temps are 75-80 when lights are on/off and the humid. is around 40% when the lights are on and almost 60% when the lights are off. is the 60% the problem?

I am having the same problem and have also had lots of trouble finding a solution.

The leaves are likely reaching for more light, so maybe lower yours a tad at a time until they relax?

Thanks for the tip. That kinda makes since for my situation. The plant that is pointing upwards is one of the farthest from the light. That will change soon though when my 2 42W Daylight CFLs get here

its normal dont worry, my plants always reach the day after watering especially in the morning. its just "excited" that the light is back. if you watch trees in the wild they do the same thing
