thanks..... I gave a very light feeding of FF Big Bloom, and FF Grow Big, and did a water flush from above 10 minutes later and force drained the table 10 minutes after that. They are looking super happy, every single one is working on its second or third (and two there fourth) new set of leaves. This is the beginning of the explosive growth I was talking about. I mix the water well before filling the table for good oxygen ppm, then mix again by hand once the water or feeding solution is in the table, halfway between filling it and draining it. I have also been watering with strait water from the tops to keep oxygen flowing through the pots properly. Roots are already at the bottom of the most healthy and vigorous clones. I am very accustomed to soil growing, so I forgot to balance the ph appropriately before the first feeding and flush 4 days ago, and I forgot how well coco choir holds nutes and gave a tad too much.... some leaf tips burned, but all the roots are healthy, and new growth is looking lush too.
Since I have a little extra room in the table reservoir I think Im going to add 2 or 3 more plants this weekend inside the table, bringing the total in the ebb and flow table 27 or 28, with 10 (maybe 15 if I add another
collapsable shelf
) around the sides of the table shelve's. Making total plant count 37-38, or 42-44???..... I will figure that out as I go. I want to get as much weight out of each watt as possible. Im brainstorming free materials to make "root boxes" for the 1 gal pots in the table, as Im sure the roots are going to want to venture further than the bottoms to get em as big as I want them...... I think I have almost come up with a solution, I will smoke on it (resin
)....... thats about all for now..... I get the impression when I am in there with them, that they feel lonely......
