Hi all ok I'm looking to do a grow out in a shed but looking at getting a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 m tent to accompany 4 plants what's the best lining to get white or silver? I'm also looking at getting the simple reflector and the sun master bulb will this be sufficient enough? also considering to go bubbler over soil or is soil better thanks

I would just go with plain old white latex. Maybe with some of that mildew preventing additive you use in bathrooms.
Save your cash for some good lighting and climate controls

For some reason i thought you said shed, not tent. White or silver, you wont see any real difference.

Climate is second to lighting, I would recommend a easier medium, bubbler like dwc? I would advise against it for a first time grow and in a shed. Stick to pro mix or coco and salts for feed. The tent should have lining already but for whatever reason, non reflective white, or panda film. Orca film if you want to spend more. Nothing wrong with using hid, as long as you can keep the environment in check while doing so.

Depending on where you live in the world @killaspliff the shed will need some nice HVAC and insulation. Plus it needs to be pest proof and probably light proof. HPS will run hotter than LEDs, but HPS burns more power. Water grows in a shed would be extra tough if the temps got too hot or cold. Soilless is best unless you’re a hydro nut and have the gear to keep your solutions in the right temp range.

Ok cheers I’ll need to do a bit of research on the climate side of things. Yeah like a DWC. Ok cheers I’ll take a look at those soils anything else neat to add to these soils or they good to go?

I live in the uk. Shed is insulted pest proof and light proof has no windows for light penetration. So woth the rent inside be extra light sealed. When you say soil grows will be hard that because heat drying up soil to quickly or?

I said soilless would be best. Hydro would be harder due to outside temps, but if you have the gear, hydro yields better and the veg time is shorter, IMHO.

Sorry bud read it wrong ok thank you I’ll have a look into both thinking with the Uk won’t be so hot so should be ok this the main concern with hydro?

They’re both good names.
The sunmaster says full spectrum and shows you the chart, check the other one for spectrum, I can’t see it in the pic. Lots of folks grow great weed with cheap HPS lights too. I think Vivosun comes up in some posts, if you want to go cheap. I liked the HPS 600 supers when I used them. Uisho or Hortilux.
