Started flowering this week - can I still TOP?

This is my first grow and I had a lot of problems. But once I dialed in the Fox Farm nutes, everything started falling in place. I kick started the flowering process by turning off all lights for 48 hours, and then swapping the lights from MH to HPS. To my shock the plants grew about 7 inches during the darkness period. And if they grow just 4 more inches, I'll be out of room in my grow tent.

Question - can I and should I still top the plants? Also would it be too late to re-pot. They are in 6 inch pots, about a gallon size.

Just my opinion, I would not top during flowering. You will get hermaphrodite, from the stress

You can tie them down if they are getting to tall.

Also tell me more about your grow setup, and some pics would help also

I throw mine straight into flower from the aero cloner 40 plants at a time and I top a cpl dozen select plants after a week with no problems or Hermies. But you are gonna have to do something bro if your gonna run out of room in your tent cause they will stretch out more over the next several weeks.. I don;t know if bending them and tieing them will be an option for you depending on the # of plants you have in your tent.

Dude 4 inches left? Dont matter how much you top your gonna run out of room the girls got alot of growing to do yet. Sorry but sounds like you should have flipped sooner
