started my first plant

I cut open plastic bottles like evian water bottles and place them over the plants for a while, they will love the humidity and helps growth, dont know if anyone else does it alot.... Nice start though they look good

Hey toejoe been busy building a new grow room. i have no secerts, i've grown my own veggies and i'm sort of treating the little babe's the same way. right now just watering and using hid light system 400 watt growing bulb from 6am to 10 pm on a timer. as for soil yea i'm using mg garden mix, what i do is i mix a 50/50 using plain potting soil with perlites this keeps the growing medium nice and soft. it also cuts the high levels of nitrogen and eveything else you hear bad about MG. one thing i highly recommend gettig a good growing book like Marijuana Horticulture, The indoor/outdoor Medical Growers Bible by, Jorge Cervantes or one of his other books. you'll learn alot and finally read the forums, what other people are doing. but my thoughts on growing medium what works for you works for you. you got to cut fox farm too.it will burn your plants too. i think it's got alot to do with what your growing like veggies they are not all the same. good luck!! i'll be posting soon my plants are doing great. if you don't have a hid growing light system with both bulbs growing and flowering get one at least 400 watt on ebay a little over $100.00 free shipping you'll be glad you did.( ipower)

here's the bags of MG i've used. the kush i'm growing i used true value hardware store brand potting mix. the MG potting soil i used with the C99 is shown here. the organic MG i used with both plants it's the soil i cut down and my plants are doing very good. the above soils,water that i leave out for 24 hrs before using and lots of light. thats it..

Running C99 right now my self. In my journal entries, also running 2 blueberry bubblegum (bubblegum weed, just had to try it LOL). Your plants are looking great! You will have a lot of fun and a some good smoke in the end.. specially with 400 watts. My first was a bag seed that ended up becoming root bound in the last 3 to 4 weeks (could tell cause the I could never correct the deficiencies and measuring the plant she was 3.25 feet tall at the end of stretch in a 3 gallon container that was not 100% full). I still ended up with about 25 grams in the end. (150 watt hps with an extra 2700k 62 actual watts on the girl) Now I have gone with a 4x4x6.5 tent with 600 watt and 4 girls. Hope to double the amount per plant and also using 5.6 gallon grow fabric pots. This is an addictive hobby as you will soon find out .

Thanks i'm reading up on the cloneing thing . yea i think these girls are ripe. i'll update pictures later they have really grown bushy, ive raised the lights to try to get them to grow taller now. still just watering no ferts at all . now i understand why people put down MG it's loaded , i'm glad i cut it with reg potting soil. might not have to add anything until flower time LOL!!

how old you plants? from pop from seed to now?

I germinated and planted the seeds on 12/27/2012, today 1/18/2013 this is what they look like. Just say a Month old. The third picture is the new grow room, have a HID light on the other side of the Carbon Filter would like to place another 400 watt HID light on this side of the filter. I do have in the right corner ( not in picture ) a double 4 ft. long sunshine bulbs for seedlings. I did top them and as you can see they have really gotten bushy. Happy growing!!

Yea, this growing thing can get addictive. But I was told that one day green as gree can be next, WHAT the HELL happened!!!!!! I have a friend , and thats what happened to him everything just started turning brown. Yea addictive but in a good way, makes you feel like your in school again. Always thinking.
