starting my fiirst outdoor guerrilla grow

I'm not sure if I had mentioned the fact that I've moved the younger clones to a new location in search of just a bit more sun!
Thanks Curiosity for those words of encouragement.

This first photo set is of the younger clones which had been moved.

My second set of photos is of the older clones I have in their same location.

Looking up close at the node locations on some of the plants I believe I may be seeing some pre-flowering growth but I'm not entirely sure but I've posted some upclose shots of the node spots. However these photos don't really do it justice from what I saw out in the field today.

It has been at least a week since I visited my girls in the forest, so I have no exact time stamp for when flowering began so I am arbitrarily declaring today Week 1 Day 1 of Flower as when I went up today I saw all the girls bearing white pistils.

Though I was nervous they may not be getting enough sun, I figure this is the best sign!

Here are some shots from a distance

And some up close shots of the nodes, sorry some are poorer quality

I will be back continuously checking on them the next few weeks, looks like it will be about a late October harvest for these girls.
It's really nice to see flowering growth on my first grow.

For those curious I have already started a journal to keep track of my preparation for my second grow, which will be indoor with LEDs. I've kept myself busy building a VegBox and plan on building a Flowering Box afterwards.
Here is a link to check it out: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/710126-second-time-growing-first-time.html

I'm about three and a half weeks into flowering with the blue cheese so I thought I would share some photo updates!

To begin with here are photo sets of my older clones. Each photo is of an individual plant.

Then I have another photo set which features more upclose bud shots. All these tops are from a single plant!

I'm taking any bets/predictions on harvest date and weight!

Too early to tell, though I think you can expect late Oct. Just watch the trichomes ...you want very little clear and amber especially amber, mostly cloudy trichomes then take those ladies down.

They look really healthy better shots of their height and overall branch structure will give better idea. However First week of Oct you will have better idea of potential yield.

Good Job REP TO YOU!

Things are well on their way now, they really do look good. As far as harvest goes when you’re growing outside, it all depends where you live and what your climate is like. Where I live, it rains for days and usually every week in September and October, so it makes sense to have a strain that harvests early or even a whack of autos growing. Here is what I do with a late outdoor crop, I watch for bud root, if any is found, cut it away, I try to leave the plants late as possible while watching the weather forecast for rain, if it's not severe (forecast) then I leave them as long as I can, but if it’s giving lots of rain and fog, you will lose you crop to the “rot” once it starts there is no stopping it. Sorry for the long rant, the short answer is “as long as you can” this is outdoors not indoors growing with the harvest depending on the elements, not your choosing.

What are some signs of budrot I can keep my eye out for then? The area I live in is usually saturated with rain fall during this time of the year, so it looks like bud rot could be a major concern of mine.

I've been pretty late about getting some of these photos up and posting these updates but here goes, I have two updates in one today from two separate time frames.

My first set of photos are from the week prior to this one of the plants in flowering.

One of my plants became really weighed down and the branches were nearly parallel to the ground-- but then it started flowering vertically

The last shot is from last night, when I harvested three out of the eight plants due to concerns about the weather. I was sad to pull them early, but I staked down the remaining 5 so hopefully they will do fine out there.

Well, it's been a couple weeks now since I had taken the first 3 of my plants due to concerns about the weather, as I mentioned in my last post. That bud has dried now and has been curing slowly. The smoke is definitely nice but I have an excess amount of fluffy bud due to being pulled so early.

As of yesterday I made the decision to harvest the rest of my girls as the weather again is making a turn for the worst and this time without any warmer weather in sight. While I would've preferred another week or two (they started flowering pretty late on) I'm still satisfied with the results of my first grow so far!
