so when i feel the soil about inch or so deep if it seems dry thats when i should water them
Just like stick your finger down in there. If it's dry enough it'll be airy and easy to get your finger into. You wanna guesstimate where your root ball is based on how big your plant is and try to feel to the bottom of it. Just remember you want them to want to drink!!

use them both for exhaust and cut holes for a passive air intake. one lesson I learned the hard way. chek out the way i cut holes on my newest update to the box

to untangle some of those plants what do u recommend leave it and hope for the best or try to slowly crumble the soil around it and pick them out slowly and re plant them

Well you don't need to hook up an active intake, you need POWERFUL exhaust. I'm telling you bro use both for exhaust and you'll see yout temp won't be an issue. just mount them next to each other on the top.

phew..not sure about that man. maybe just leave em go see what happens. Take it as a lesson learned. Maybe someone with more experience would know better.

I use plastic sandwhich bags over mine, if you position them correctly you can have the corners sticking up over the cup and give the seeding a good 4 or 5 inches to grow before it touches it. The one plant that broke through the soil is thriving on that, especially when I put it outside in the sun for a few hours

You might want to go to walmart or something and pick up these tiny hooks, I have that same lamp you do but use it differently

I'm going to Home Depot today or tomorrow to pick up some small chains so I can adjust the height once the plastic bags are removed, I need to keep these plants short so I'm going to put the light as close as I can
