Starting my first grow with Light of Jah seeds. Need growbox help!

Okkk. So here it goes,

I'm about to start a grow in my shed, and I really need advice on how to build my grow box

I want to fit as many plants as I can in one space and I have around 100 dollars to get started with. I also have everything I need to build the room, I just don't know what dimensions and such.

uhmm. I'd really like to use cfls as well because they're so cheap haha.

So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

check out my grow journal for some ideas, may help out. im with ya on the CFL idea. so cheap and not much cooling needed. put those suckers right ontop of those colas. i recommend getting a mess of 150 watt cfls (or bigger if you can find em) theyre equal to 42 watts. dont use much juice and dont overheat. as for hanging them maybe think about a lot of work lights and run a pole across the top and hang them in paced out intervals. what type of medium are you using? and what strain? indica or sativa? cause that may affect your overall hieght to work with.

for those clamp lights i found em for $5 each at walmart. 150watt cfls around $9. pretty swet setup there with that fresh hundo ya got

How many of those 150ws would I need to grow about 6 plants?

As for the strain I have some Light of Jah seeds (mostly sativa) that I'm gonna plant in soil. (just because I don't wanna go hydro my first grow lol)

I want the most yield as quickly as possible ( but who doesn't right? lol) so if i have to do less plants to go faster and bigger that's fine.

I just wanna get one under my belt

Oh and I plan on starting to build the space tomorrow, so I'll be able to take pics for you guys to see my setup as it starts lol

do yourself a favor and look into doing hempy buckets, for soil you would need 6 ,5 gal buckets,i use 3 gal buckets in 100% perlite i got at walmart. 1 ($3-4) 8 quart bag is good for 2.5 gallons.its easier and some say better and faster . i found 3 gallon buckets at the local surplus store for $1 each drilled a 7/16 hole 2 inch from the bottom and your ready.if you want pics let me know, i have 10 going right now. i have 10 soil going also that's why i would say go with the hempy... here is the link to the place i got started from.http://www.greenpassion.org/f20/hempy-bucket-method-3010/

For CFL's with more wattage, go to ebay, key in: cfl grow lights. There are many REPUTABLE vendors selling 125/150/200/300 ACTUAL wattage, not "equivelent" to! I'm an outdoor man myself, but I run a small indoor operation for getting my clonage ready for spring planting. I use 1-200 in a "Bright-Wing" for the overhead lighting & 4-90's (actual) on the sides. This gives me 560 actual watts. This is plenty of light for sure and NOT that much heat.

johnny12r-how much do you think it would be to start the hempy counting lights nutes and all? Is it pretty much like a hydro system that you water on you're own? (sorry i'm a newb >.< ) I have a bunchh of 5 gal buckets ( my dad is a painter) so i can get those anytime.
