have a dwc 6 hole 6inch net pot system with top water feed drip sticks growing in hydroton with rapid rooter plugs is that good for a set up to produce ? also runinng 400 watt hps light could i go all the way with that or do i have to get a mh bulb for autoflowering ? my seeds just came in from herbies and wanted to know if the free seed they gave auto or photo. have himilaya blue diesel and super stinky auto starins. and freebies royal fruit spirit,sleestack x skunk,royal queen critical... thanks for the help guys so i could get started on my first grow thanks in advance.

So whats your question again?1st off, autoflowering is a waste of time, tried it -->wasnt happy in the end. As far as lights, hps work best for flowering, atuoflowering included but i used CLF 200w 6400Kfor the first 2 weeks (1 week was 200W, then i added another 200W + 125W CFL) and after that i used hps. And gift seeds are usually regular (if if doesnt say otherwise). And dont grow multiple strains at the same time, couse all the strains dont like the same EC (td, ppm) and you can hurt some of your ladies.

i was told it was a lil bit easier then would go ahead and move to photo just want to start of here with auto first i have the bcn box with one side cfl and the other hps.

using cfls for flowering is what wasted your time not the auto seeds.i squeeze them in the sides of my bloom tent for shits and giggles. Ive been pulling about 20-28 grams a plant in 60-65 days under a 600whps on 12/12. 1.2 gallon air pots. I think there great for people just learning and want fast smoke and filling in unused space in a tent. auto strain I have is ghs green-o-matic. I do prefer my photoperiods but autos can be fun.

its my first grow is it ok to grow them with rapid rooter and hydrotons they will be in a 6 inch net pot that should be enough room for them right. it does has a resivior with drip stick system do you think i should take the stick off.

yea i have an air pump is it ok to put my seedling under the 400 watt mh light to sprout out in the dome or take it off.

I don't bother with drippers, they can help until the roots show through the net pots.
Not sure exactly what your system is but I have a similar 6 plants in a 55l bin. I just make sure the air pump is causing a mist from the bubbles bursting and this is perfect, Kind of aeroponics until the roots reach the water then I just keep the bin half full.

If you use a 400w MH make sure it's not too close or it could burn the seedling or dry out your medium too fast, you shouldn't need the dome after it's sprouted

thats what i think iam going to do i have 5 inch net pots in my dripper system but thinking about just letting it drip but not from the stick until they get long enough to just keep my resiviour full....

so after they sprout just keep feeding the 2 times a day or up it a lil bit... they do have the seed leaves already just waiting on the main leaves which feeding schedule should i use. oh and here is my set up dont have circulation fan yet, though get it soon.

starting my first hydroponic grow.
