I use pay as you go cards , and my phone is a cheap non-smart phone.

You miss one payment, go overdrawn once, etc... and say good-bye to the interest rates you thought you got into.
Over here credit card interest rates are close to 30% an anum.

I didnt read the whole thread so I dont know if this has already been said so... But if you are lookin to build credit go get a department store card. Something like Macys or Sears they are really easy to get. Then just buy something small that you can AFFORD and just pay the bill in full at the end of the month. Just make sure you are not over spending that is where most people get into trouble. After some time you will have a lil credit built up and will start getting credit offers in the mail. Choose carefully! Pick an unsecured card with no annual fee and the lowest FIXED interest rate you can get. Anyway thats my 2 piece.
