Starting plants outside my window with the street lights on?

I have 5 plants I started from germinated bag seeds sitting in my window because I wanna grow outdoors but don't want the heavy rain I've been having to kill them soo I started them in the window till their strong enough to put in the ground in the open but I've noticed my streetlight is on at around 8:00 which is when it gets dark and I was wondering if they will be okay if the street light shins on them a little when it's dark... They are 2 weeks and 4 days old and they are about 3 inches tall and are making progress but not what I was hoping or expecting... Could the lack of complete darkness from the street light be the reason why I'm not getting the results I want or doi just need to be more patient? I've grown indoors but never outdoors soo I'm not sure cuz my previous plants were about 8 inches after 2 weeks when I grew indoors...

The more light they get will mean the more growth they have. The only time you have to worry about light pollution on your plants is if they are going into flower, which your seedlings are not.
