Hey i have about 6 seedlings in cups that have already broke the surface. Do they need light for the first couple of days before i move them outside?

If they broke I would put them in cups with some FF lightwarrior of the equivalent and use a t-5 setup to start them out 18/6hrs on/off. I don't know where you're at but here we still have another two months before the outdoor season starts. Remember to plant AFTER the last frost.

i just keep mine by the windowsill. they will grow faster with natural sunlight either way, i let them sit there for a week with open window for breeze to strengthen stem. and that way your plants will be used to sunlight for when you put them out.
