Starting seedlings outdoors? Anyone done this?

I want to start some seedlings outdoors just because. If I can find a good spot that get lots of sunlight should this work out? I'll of course have organic bug spray on hand. Also, has anyone done this? What was your result?

My first plant was a single seed I just put in a raised bed at my parent's house.....just because. I didn't even notice it for about 3 weeks. It was one of the best growing experiences I've had so far. Like a hole-in-one that brings you back to the course again and again. Not sure about the bug spray, unless you live in the south or something. Let nature do its thing for the most part.

Cool man, I have access to lights inside and I plan to start a few inside, but just always curious about doing it just totally natural ya know

If I were you I would germinate them indoors and let them sprout before moving them outside.
Generally the larger the plant that you take outside the greater the result.

You will want to feed them. If your not going to visit them often make sure you use time release fertilizer or microorganisms. Yu should always use microorganisms You will have to sex them. If its a hot summer you will have to water often.

Ensure you are frost free, face the pot with a clear area to the sun, use a pot with quality potting mix, but you are best to star it off, germinate inside until its up about 4-6 inches
Yeah I am starting all of mine inside except for one just for this little experiment.
