im about to start my diy dwc/bubble bucket setup, and im trying to figure out how i should start my seeds, and my gf has an aerogarden so i was thinking about using that. are they good for starting from seed and then transferring? i have literally zero aerogarden experience. do you germinate before you put it in and can i put rockwool in there somehow or something?

Germinating the seeds in a paper towel is the best way to start.

You can transfer from the AeroGarden, but it would probably be a better idea to start them in your DWC, unless this is not possible.

From what I've heard you can use rockwool, but I'm not sure. I have seen a few grows where people used the rapid rooter plugs. They seemed to do pretty good.

Man do what I do.I put me a seed in a oasis cube that has been soaked in water and place them in a ziplock baggie and place on top of the hot water heater where it's dark. When the lil baby sprouts I place the whole cube into my DWC(deep water culture) I have about 100% germ rate using this method.

Sounds like a plan!
