Starting under 600 finishing under 1000 hps ?s

Whats up long time since i posted on here. Grow been going very well. I was pondering something wanted to know if anyone has experience with the issue. What do you guys think of starting flowering from veg under 600W hps and then a few weeks in putting under 1000w hps for the rest of the way through. Where i live we have the highest power bills in the country (upper michigan, $150/mo per light) im just seeing if anyone has done this. What part of flower are lumens most important? Is doing week 1-3 under 600 and the rest under 1000 something anyone has done let me know!

Start under 600 watts, in a footprint roughly 4 x 4. Flip to 12/12 flowering hours, and the Stretch begins. After two weeks (or 3 weeks in your case), the plants will be bigger. Hopefully big enough to fill out the bigger footprint (5 x 5) of the 1000 watt light.

I've flowered under 400, 600, 1000 watt hps and mh bulbs and all were pure fire hard buds.
1000 watt allowed me to grow larger taller plants with more hard buds than my 400 watt, but 600
leaves nobody wanting.

Update: I said fuck it and added 2 1k watters instead of the 600s. Things are doing great got 7 strains going and its looking awesome. As it has for years ive been growing for 10+ years
