hey rob..i thought about what you said last night. the workaround would be:

the worker who accepted what was offered and employer would not get into trouble, would be if the worker was a 'contractor'..then yes..any amount can be offered and accepted without repercussion from government. as a contractor, they are responsible for their own taxes etc; and would have to be a true contractor..not employee posing as such.

there are rules in determining what constitutes a contractor..'means test'.

I know that we have a basic philosophical difference. I don't feel any obligation to follow rules that other people impose on me thru force, nor do I impose myself on others via force. If two parties agree to something peacefully amongst themselves, I don't believe a third party has the right to intervene, you do. All the rest of what you said is just what results from following our divergent paths and is whimful (made that word up) and arbitrary.

Hope that clears things up for you, when you (ahem) "question authority".

you can rephrase your philosophy any way you want to, using whatever euphemisms you want to.

the plain fact is that it leads to the same place: people hanging signs on the front of their stores stating that people of certain races and skin colors are not welcome.

you are a segregationist.
