I think it is crazy that when people get bad beans they always blame the bank. They give beans to you just like the breeder gave it to them. It is not the seed banks fault if your beans are junk.
I believe that is because so many growers are young and so many are so limited in true life experience that they are unable to differentiate between a reseller and the manufacturer who supplies the reseller with the products the reseller sells.
They are unable to see where true responsibility lies. They have not yet learned that if a manufacturer produces a faulty item that they then purchase through some other business that the blame, the fault, the culpability is that of the manufacturer, not the reseller, who just like them, were sold a faulty product, who just like them, were ripped off ... by the manufacturer of the product.
I have used the example before but when people were injured and some killed when Ford Explorers were rolling over due to faulty tires it was Bridgestone/Goodyear that ended up in court and that paid the lawsuit fees because it was their faulty tires that caused Ford Explorers to roll-over. Ford was not culpable even though they sold the vehicles. All culpability was that of the tire manufacturer, Bridgestone/Goodyear.
If a business produces a faulty product and then sells it to another business who then resells it the fault, the culpability is not transferred from the original manufacturer to the reseller upon sale releasing the original manufacturer of faulty goods from all liability and guilt. It remains that of the manufacturer.
It is exactly the same with cannabis seeds.
One lesson that some might be smart to learn from this is to pay attention to the names of the manufacturers of the beans that keep being complained about and stop ordering those brands of seeds, from any seed vendor, and instead purchase brand name seeds that we do not keep seeing complained about being of low quality.
Stop purchasing Wal-Mart quality genetics and expecting the best.
If people scan seedbanks they will often find that Shantibaba's beans are difficult to come by, they sell out very fast. You do not see complaints about his products. If you scan Reeferman's line much of it sells out very fast, and you do not read complaints about his gear. When was the last time you read where someone complained that Desjamaan seeds did not pop? I've never read of Black Label seeds not popping. I do not read about Sensi Seeds not popping. I don't recall reading about Serious Seeds not popping.
I read about the Hyundai grade breeders seeds not popping and you can't expect to drive a Mercedes when you purchase a Hyundai.
