Last LH grow was only my 2nd grow - and I grew it alongside Ayahuasca Purple in the same reservoir. Definitely made more mistakes in that grow - the LH roots looked AWFUL on harvest day. Likewise I was using a KIND led blurple lamp - probably throwing down 2000ppfd of less-than-ideal spectrum.
It had to have been errors I made stressing the plants out. This grow has been way smoother than that one.

Finally got around to the trim & musical chairs. Also took out 4gals / added 8gals of fresh solution.

I topped up a few times in the last week with fresh water - TDS went down for a day and bounced right back up. The pH has been trending down for a couple days too... Initial reaction was concern, but I did also just turn on my dehum this week - I think I'm seeing some evaporation. Gonna need to maintain a watchful eye for the remaining weeks, though...
 
I also tinkered with light intensity just a bit. I can achieve a ppfd of 1052 at the center for the bargain basement wattage of 350w. I'm sitting at a ppfd of 965 @ 325w for now, but when I drop that next 30mins off the day I'm gonna give them the full blast

How much evaporation from your reservoir do you normally see? Just curious.

Hard to say whats evap & whats plants drinking. In the past 2ish weeks I've added somewhere around 18gals of water and/or solution, and have only *manually* removed 4 gallons of water - so 1 gal of water a day is about what's leaving the res.

Some is certainly plants drinking it
Some is probably evaporation
I can't say for sure whether or not someone is coming in and stealing some from the res every day or so... lol

Gal/day is reasonable when they’re haulin azz....up to 90-95% of it is transpired...

Hmmmm... some light spots showing up at the centers of some leaves this morning... Thoughts?

Could it be those leaves reacting to the trim the other day? Or some kind of deficiency or excess?
