So I ran 6x23 watt bulbs in my stealth cabinet. The cabinet is 19"Lx14"Wx28"h. Due to stealth reasons, the cabinet has to exhaust and intake air from the same room. Iam using a 6" 250 cfm duct booster fan as my exhaust fan

Iam getting 86 degrees with 6x23 watters. The room temperature is also around 86 degrees. If I turn the room AC on, the temperature in the cabinet gets to about 70 degrees. I dont want to rely on using AC to help cool my cabinet.

So is 6x23 watt the max light setup my cabinet can handle during the summer?
Iam gonna go get 6x42 watt and try them in my cabinet, hopefully I can stay @ 86 degrees with 6x42 watts.

86 is okay...its not ideal but its okay...my temps in my closet tend to stay anywhere from 60(with the lights off) to 85...depending on what my ac is set at....i mean as long as u dont get to close 2 90 ull b okay...but basically if ur worried about ur temps ur gonna have to rely on ur ac unless u buy a cheap ac unit or something....its just an occupational hazard lol

Sorry dont have pics, buts its just a square box 28" in height, the lights are hanged horizontally at the top of the cabinet with an 6" duct booster fan as an exhaust fan at the top of the cabinet.

With 3x23 watters the temps went down to 82 degrees.

only 3x23 watts? that wont be enough to flower, but is this in a closet?

Cause mine is in a rubbermaid in my closet and i have 8x27w and im hitting 86 at most now. a picture would really help most but a diagram would be fine for now. whenever you can muster one up. :D.

P.S. do you have a fan blowing on the lights/babys?

the lights are inside a small box, 28" in height. the stealth box just sits in a room. Due to the small space I dont have a fan blowing on the lights, but I do have a fan exhausting air from inside and out of the box.

You can flower with 3 x 26w cfls, i'm doing it now
you do need to clever with light setup

Iam doing a scrog setup. During veg I added some F8T5 bulbs a long the side underneath the screen. When flowering I will put the canopy very close to the lights.

i mean its not extremely bad that its hitting high 80's / 90's because when i was in Jamaica for vaca. the temperature was 98*F with real high humidity and from what i saw their buds were the sex

edit: but i would try and keep it down to 85 and below if you can, but dont go over 90

yeah, it's interesting since weed grows in 90's outside in plenty of places
a lot of growers(including myself) seem to have problems when the temps hit the high 80's/low 90's on inside grows
why that is, is a bit of a mystery, to me anywys

When plants are growing outside they are able to take way more of a beating than their indoor counterparts. Indoor plants tend to be babied and sheltered while outdoor plants get hit by rain, wind, insects, and all kinds of things that won't get to your plant inside. By having plants start outside in that temperature, they adjust to it and thus, end up growing normally like any other plant.
