what i use is fox farm ocean forest and fox farm grow big and big bloom, ff grow big is for vegging and big bloom and tiger bloom is u use tb are both for flowering. you used the big bloom for veg its not recommended, for veg u want something high in nitrogen and lower in phosphourus and to have some potassium, maybe a 20-10-10 0r even 20-20-20 even, for flowering using something less in nitrogen and more in posphourus, and potassium needs to be present, hope that helps, and the ocean forrest soil has enough nutriennts to last 4 weeks but id introduce ff grow big around week three, and please understand when u switch ur lightsa to 12/12 theres basically a light hormone it the plant that reacts to the light change, for them to even know their switching to flower it takes approximately two weeks for the to recognize its being switched, whati do is when i switch my lights to 12/12/ i still use veg nutes for two weeks so they still grow more shoots and nodes, then after two weeks flush soil and introduce the bloom nutrients to them they should love it, eventually work u way up to full strength nutes
The only nutes I have given them at this point is half-strength of Fox Farm Big Bloom. I haven't dared to use any other nutes yet.

idk if this is a issue but check your grow rooms for bugs , closely inspect all the leaves and the soil, on one of those pics looks like a bug got to one of the leafs , if its bugs find ur problem early so it doesnt get worse even fatal
Days Germinated: 4 days (Jan 19th - Jan 23rd)
Days Veg'd: 32 days (Jan 23rd - Feb 24th)
Days Flowering: 7 days (Feb 24th - Present)

I tried to introduce nutes again at half strength to see how they'd react. Although not quite as extreme as last time (I acknowledge I was wayyy too early last time), they still don't seem to like nutes. I see yellowing, brown spots, white spots, etc. I have flushed both pots with a gallon of water to not take any chances, but I'm considering not introducing nutes again this grow. I have no idea why they don't like them.

I have taken several pictures to do my best at showing what I see after nutes. Also, some pictures of the glorious first bloomer that I've counted 14 bud sites on :weed:

Oh, I also removed the floor inside the dresser. It was already caving in under the weight of the plants, and I decided I could use the extra 4" of vertical space.. I may end up removing the upper shelf if necessary as well.

Haha, there aren't any bugs and I know the exact leaf you're talking about. It's on the first bloomer, lower, and what happened was the intake fan caught that leaf one time when I closed the door (I don't have the light shroud on now that it's flowering and the lights are off during the day).

Hahahaha wrong the plants look ok to me. You must be new at this. You shouldn't be scaring people like that.

I apologize that I haven't update this in what seems like forever; However admittedly I am posting back with a question.

I've been in flowering for I guess about 3-4 weeks now, and I'm still not seeing any serious signs of buds showing. There are little hairs poking out everywhere on all three plants, but still not any buds. By the estimates I came up with, I expected to be cutting these plants down in a couple more weeks.

Am I doing anything wrong? I haven't started introducing nutes because every time I do the plants freak out.

Oh, and the tallest plant has finally hit the roof.. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that yet.

Note: Please don't mock me for the burnt leaves at the top. These plants are suicidal and love to reach for lights while I'm at work.

You need more light and spread the plants out. They are crowding each other and you won't see the flowers develop due to the lack of light I would suggest. moving the biggest plant and putting it under it's own lights and doubling the lights over the others

HAHAHAHA!! Looks like all those good problems came to fruition. Same advice goes from above. You can go in there now and cut some shit out if you want. It will hurt you worse not too probably. So did all 3 turn out female??? Looks like it. Go get 2 more 4 packs of lights and 4 Y adapters, and super crop like hell

I'm really nervous about the idea of cutting on the plants. I've got a friend who's a little more experienced than me who's gonna stop by and help me out.
He's also got a 85W HPS that we're gonna see if we can fit in.

I'll post updates tonight with any changes we make!

Okay, the buddy has come to save the day and we've done some trimming. Not too much, but I think things look a little more "breezy".

It's wax time, ladies.

Here's some picture updates:

Moving forward:

I'm thinking I'm going to let the plants recover for 5-7 days, I figure they'll show me when they're ready.. But, I'm going to try introducing the bloom nutrients at the right time now. I think I'm going to stick with the 18/6 through recovery and am considering switching to 12/12. I guess the plants have been kind of vegging this whole time, so it shouldn't shock them too much, right?

Have a good night, as always keep it fun!! bongsmilie

Well honestly I am confused as hell. Were you in 12/12 or what was your light schedule before you posted yesterday? If you were 12/12 then you are making a mistake playing with your light schedule now. This is why, you just trimmed the plant, giving more light to the areas trimmed. The cutting will slow flower and force a little veg to repair the damage, without you trying to do it yourself with playing with lighting. If tou switch back to 18/6 now you will end up in worse shape than beforte you cut them. Think back to how much they grew between the time you flipped 12/12 and now? That's my .02...

I never flipped 12/12, it was originally 24/0, and was switched to 18/6.

However, I have put them in 12/12 effective immediately. I don't want any more vegging. I know there will be a little, but I can't have much more growth.

We had to sacrifice the beautiful top cola of the biggest plant because it was like 8 inches tall.

So you were never in flower. They may have shown preflowers because they were mature, but you are not in flower until you get between 12/12 to 14/10 lighting. I suggest ou flip to 12/12 right now, because you can still get between 2-3 weeks of vegatative growth after switching to 12/12. You are going to still be in trouble and not have enough light, which may cause the plants to take a long time to flower. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I have to be real with you about it. Good luck bro, peace :D

BTW, the general rule in the grower community is the plants will double, and may triple in size between the time the lights are flipped 12/12 to the time you harvest. :) :(

I'm aware of the lighting issue, and am working up a new plan for that.. Including my friend's 85W light soon.

As for space, I guess I'll just do what I can to get this grow to not die. At this point, it's not about a nice yield, it's about getting a yield period so I can start revising this box soon.

If you're still doing veg then just cut them down some more(1/2 the size of the box) and veg them 1 week and then go 12/12 that should do the trick

Great, now go get 1 or 2 more. they look great, but they havent even started budding. They will be great if you keep enough light on them. Or maybe go get a couple 2 foot HO T5 tubes and place them a few inches above the pots against the walls. You have done good though, + repp
