Awesome thanks. I thought i had it all backwards. Thanks for the pics of the light traps, i've been wondering how Im gonna do mine. Mine might end up being cardboard but it'll be that same basic design.
The principal the light trap works on is that light is directional but because air is a gas it can flow around bends easily while the light gets trapped behind. with a light trap even as simple as mine it stops all light and even quieted my fans down quiet a bit so its a win-win.Awesome thanks. Just relocate the exhaust to the back, not really anywhere else to put one except the floor of the cabinet if its going to be stealth.I know the concept, just had to see one more built . I forgot that my cab is right up to a wall so i had to have my intake hole (of the light trap) facing down instead of back (ie my hole is on the bottom, not back of the box). It definitely works as a light trap (only a tiny bit is shining DOWN, towards the ground, sandwiched between a wall/cab... not worrying about light getting up there) just gotta make sure it doesn't cut back on my air flow. Still thinking of how im gonna make one for my exhaust as this one will be in plain sight... (dont want a cardboard box duct taped to teh side of a cabinet that's supposed to be stealthy)
694 total CFM in such a small box helps lolPlants look good and healthy. wish my temps could stay that low =/
I think you'll be fine. Some people just don't understand microgrows.View attachment 1865448
