Stealth Grow project

Hello all, very new grower in the scene. Here's the system I'm installing: stacking two 20 gal. rubbermaid containers as my flowering chamber, an old pc case as a vegetative chamber to keep mother and clones. I'm trying to keep costs at recession friendly level and looking for the more affordable method of growing. Hydro or organically. I like organic but seems like I have to spend 100 plus on the many elements in the dirt alone not to mention the nutes. Thank you all in advance for your advice and suggestions.

Soil should be a great starter medium but an old PC case to veg a mother may be way to small.

Thanks for your input wdk. I also have a small 15"W x 15"H x 18 " wooden cabinet I was thinking of using for this project, would that be be better?

Soil is a good starter. As for space, I'm in the process of a cabinet that's 18"w 18.5 h and 14" d. With a little creativity the possibilities are endless. Check my tiny cab out. It may give you some ideas.

Thanks Yasi. Your cabinet almost resembles mine. Will be looking forward to building this in the next few days. What would you suggest for soil mixture and nutes? There's an overwhelming lot of info out there. Just trying to narrow it down. I gotta step up the pace now, seeds are coming .

I can't recommend any nutes or soil. Been years since my last grow, it was outdoors( I love swamp growing) and the soil I used was from my garden compost pile. I guess you just got to do some research and see what works for you. I'm just recommending soil as it's less expensive to get started with. And less complicated as opposed to hydro.

Agreed with Yasi, soil is waay less complicated. And can be recession-finance-friendly t'boot. I personally wouldn't recommend grabbing soil from your yard, as you don't know what kinda bugs might be lurking in there. I've had great results (for a micro grow) with cheap-ass bags of compost from my local hardware store. Subbed and waitin for some pics of the setup.
