yah ive heard that too. but im keepin an eye out for that. also the walls around the setup where the foil is is pretty far away from the plants and lights, so I think im in the clear for it. thanks for the warning tho.

So its sept 3rd
a week into the vegging stage.
3 plants have dipped they're roots into the water.
1 of the plants has no roots pertruding through at all. wierd cuz shes healthy.
all them lookin healthy.
I cleaned the resevior out good and added the first batch of nutes. just the SH nutes micro and grow. added half the recomended size. and 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide.
that resevoir was dirrrrty had some wierd slime chunks all in it. i took everything apart and soaked it in hot water and hydrogen peroxide, and got all that sludge off. nice and clean now
Ill be getting some GH nutes soon.
cant wait for those roots to come out so i can get that bulky water pump and stuff out of there.
ill get some more pics up as soon as they get a little bigger.

looks like i might be moving and have to get rid of the babies. damn, they're so healthy too. IDK, we'll see what happens...

as a 1st time grower,im concerned with maitnanace of the whole bubble system (no room for error)..im willing to take care of my babies,but is the work to maintain girls will it be hectic?,,any advice will help alot

SO i got a runt, she/he just aint growin, anyone got any ideas?
Also one of em is getting brown tips. Think it might be the heat from the lights. Moved the lights a little further away.
They all seem so short and stocky...is this normal?
Other than all that they're looking ok, and starting to put off a skunky sort of piney smell.

I had the same thought when I first started. This being my first serious grow, alot of people told me start with soil cuz it's easier and more forgiving. But I also heard this system im using is just as easy and you can grow faster.
This system, (bubbleponics) not necasarily the stealth hydro model, any type of system like this, I think as a first time grower, is a very easy way to grow. Not TOO much work involved. I think the hardest part is cleaning the thing out with the pump and tubes and stuff in there. but once the roots hit the water you can take that stuff out and for me it has been fairly easy and just requires common sense.
So if you want UBER easy Id say soil. But a little more work with this system isnt really work, its just fun watching them grow.

I think it is definatly possible to go out of town for a day or two, I would just make sure its clean, make sure there is no fire hazards, and yah, u can set it up so its very low maintenance. I dont think that would be a problem.

day 11! damn, that is fast. I have some bagseed and i started 5 on the 28th last month and another 11 on the 30th and they only have 4 leaves on them. I have them in plastic cups in FF light warrior. looks like I ned to move them to my 3 gallon buckets. good luck and looks good.

I know, I goto sleep and wake up the next morning and I can see they've grown more and more everyday. It's crazy. This strain is supposed to grow very fast and stay very short, mine are only like 5 inches tall and allready have 4 sets of leaves with the 5ths coming out. im attempting the sea of green technique with the stealth hydro, but im sure ill be pulling some males out of here, hopefully my weed lottery luck is good and i end up with mostly females. If not then ill have 2 or 3 bigger females...well see how it ends up...
