I purchased 1 x SHK-1, Dual Spectrum Bubbleponics™ Complete Kit, with dual spectrum lights, on 14 Aug 2009 from
Stealthhydro.com. My order number is 148757.
I made this purchase based on the rave reviews of the product on the
rollitup.org website. It now appears those reviews are written by employees of the stealthhydro company, or at least associates of the company. One of the members of the website being on a first name basis and having intimate knowledge of the details of the company.
After making the purchase I received no tracking information or any information at all for a week.
On Thursday, August 20, 2009 4:22 PM, I emailed your company and asked why the product had not shipped yet or if there was a tracking number. I was then responded to on August 21 with this fedex tracking number 854812160281983. However at no time between then, and Aug 28th has this tracking number existed as far as fedex is concerned.
I called on Monday, the 24th of August to find out if the order had been shipped. I was told that some parts of the order where backordered and the product still could not ship. At this point I asked to cancel the order. I was told that I would be placed on the refund list and that the refund would hit my account on Thursday, the 27th of August.
The refund did not arrive. When I called stealthhydro to ask about the refund, the CSR I spoke with began to insist that the product had already shipped. When I tried to explain that I had asked to cancel the order and for a refund *BEFORE* it shipped he became defensive and obnoxious. He continuously tried to speak over me as I tried to explain that the fedex tracking information he was looking at was incorrect. I was not able to explain because each time I tried to get him to listen to me he simply spoke louder. This resulted in a shouting match. He then threatened me that he would not be willing to process the refund for me unless I followed his incorrect instructions and changed my attitude. His instructions were to refuse the order when it arrived so it would be shipped back. He did not understand that the product HAD NOT BEEN SHIPPED, and so his instructions where impossible. As I tried to make him understand his error he hung up on me.
I then called back and spoke with a more reasonable person who assured me that the refund would be processed by the end of the day Thursday, August 27th. It is now 4pm on Friday, August 28th and the refund is still not in my account.
I am very unhappy with the unprofessionalism that I have experienced dealing with your company. The list of issues are as follows.
1. I was not informed the product I was purchasing was on backorder.
2. When I tried to find out information about why the product was not shipping, I was given a fake fedex number to fake me into believing the product had shipped.
3. I was told I would be getting a refund and WHEN I would be getting that refund. That has not occurred.
4. The more I have tried to correct and overcome this problem with your company the ruder and more evasive you have become.
5. I received verbal abuse both online, and over the phone by your employees as I attempted to sort out the problem and get a refund of my money.
If I don't have my refund within 48 hours I will be turning this over to the better business bureau. After that I will also take whatever other measures are necessary to secure the return of my money along with whatever punitive damages are applicable. You have wasted quite a bit of my time and caused me emotional and mental stress as a result of poor customer service and complete lack of professionalism.
In any case. I dont want any mob action. I'm not asking people to burn down their stupid shop or anything.
But this website is where I got the info to buy the stealth hydro kit. All I am trying to do is warn people that this company sucks. Even if their product is decent and people like it, you could still end up ripped off by them just like I did.
And as far as smokin trees go.. The whole damned reason I tried to buy this stupid system is because i can't afford the $500 an ounce for grass in chicago anymore. Neither can I afford to get ripped off by some podunk disorganized shitty company either.
