You dont want your nutes sitting in the growing environment without continuos oxygen & your not using a submersible pump so run the air pump 24/7.

If you follow this link SH Hydroponics > Dual Spectrum Bubbleponics™ Complete Kit it will take you to the site i designed it after. if you run the vid you will see a small demo. theres works with the air stone in the res, i founded that i wasn't getting results i was looking for. Rain bird manifold had too much restriction and the air stone wasn't putting all that much bubble in the water. so i went to the hardware store and spent $15 and made my own. if you look at the vid you will see that my setup as much bubbles running to each net pot. check out the pics, you will be able see how to make one for your self. im very new to this and not sure all those bubbles in water is a good thing!

You made that whole system for $15?? That entire setup is excellent. That's the nicest easiest way to grow hydroponics. Makes me wanna grow that 'dro!

oh how i wished that all i spent was $15, no the manifold was $15, $28 pone pump, $20 air pump, air stones $5 res and top free from the bone yard at work. i'll be putting into a 4x4x7 growbox i made.

while trying to recreate stealth hydro's system, i kept running into a restriction problems from the manifold i got from the hardware store (1/8 ports) so i made my own out of a 2" cap, 2" to 1/2" reducer and 6 1/4" port. while putting it together i noticed that i had room for one of those small round air stones, so after taping a hole for the air stone and air line. after letting it dry (although the ports comes with threads i screwed up the holes and had to glue them) i hooked my new manifold to the 265 gph pond pump and the air line from the manifold to one side of the duel port air pump and the other side to the air stone for the res and filled up the tub check it out. the air stone in the manifold was doing a good job of making bubbles in the 1/4" tubing but the res air stone sucked, (will get another air pump for the res) hooked both sides of the air pump to the manifold and was amazed at how much bubbles was running through the 1/4" tubing. the water comes out all fizzies and the water is soft fluffy almost.

You should get some 360 degree spray nozzles for the ends of your plastic tubing or convert that entire base to PVC piping with the spray nozzles in the PVC. That type of system is like a sprinkler system. Works great. Check out FilthyFletch threads. He shows how he built his. Trust me you wont be disappointed. :peace:

You will see enormous growth because you already have the airstone which is giving oxygen to the water. I just think you need something more reliable than just the plastic tubing or maybe you can find some way to attach the tubes to the base of the net pots somehow.

stealth hydro's bubbleponics setup didn't show anything attached to the end of the tubing. also I've heard that i would need around 50 psi on the spray nozzles to be effective and clogging is a problem . beside a aeroponics setup wouldn't be good for me. i will be growing at a friend's house, my rental agreement will not allow me to grow my pot at home (HUD owned), my friend is listed as my grower but i will be growing it. my whole setup designed so i don't have to be out there every day. my friend will check daily before going to work and call if a problem comes up.
