Thanks man, was a good smoke too. I just started things again a couple of months ago.
I've got 3 grow spaces right now. The speaker box and a couple of PCs. First PC for Veg and clones, Second PC for a perpetual 12/12 Micro SOG with 8 or so plants in 1 liter bottles, and the speaker box for 1 plant in a 12 liter/3 gallons pot.
Right now I'm running my own strains that I crossed a while back. you can read about it a few pages back in the thread. First strain is Northern Lights x Big Bud #1, second one is Bubbleicious X Big Bud #1.
I popped 4 beans of NL x BB and got 1 female which is growing in my speaker box right now after 7 weeks of veg and 8 days of flower. found out it's a girl a few days ago. I was starting to worry after getting 3 plants with fucking sacks. Was relieved I didnt have to start all over again. Looks like a nice strong pheno.. short, big stems, tight nodes and fat leaves. Gotta love the Indicas.
Inside the Veg PC box I've got 4 BL x BB seedlings right now, about 1.5 weeks old. I'm gonna throw a couple of them inside the perpetual 12/12 PC box in a few days. the other two will go 2 weeks after that. hopefully I get atleast 2 females. Problem is the BL x BB cross didn't work as well as the NL x BB, the seedlings are all mutated and shit, but hopefully they'll still produce some buds. Not exactly stable genetics on those. I also cut 8-9 clones from the bigger plant in the speaker box so waiting for roots to show on those. They'll go inside the perpetual box as well, and I'll keep one as mother for more clones to keep things rolling.
So basically the plan is to harvest 1 "bigger" plant inside the speaker box every 10-12 weeks, and 2 mini plants from the perpetual grow every 2 weeks.
Maybe I'll take some pics tomorrow if there's enough demand.
About the LEDs, it's a shame. I was looking for something to reduce heat in the crazy hot summer we've got around here (95-100 degrees daily), and these bulbs seems like a great solution. Low heat, smaller electric bill and better light penetration is what I hear about them. Never seen them before around these parts, but I think I'll try looking again in local stores.
