I have given a foliar feed of Halo Harpins.
Should see a surge in growth in the next 24 hours.
Did it approx 1.5hrs before the lights went on.

I NEED to do a res change but i need some input as to what PPM's so aim for, and i need to do this tomorrow before it is too late.
Can someone PLEASE help, i am lost, they are 3 days into 12/12 and 12 hours after Halo foliar feed.


First time foliar feeding, hope i havent fucked it up.
Followed the instructions on the tin and sprayed away til plants were soaked all over

Got myself some seeds froma headshop, all dealer samples, so they should be good seeds i reckon!
Gunna get a 5pack if BB Blue Cheese on Friday in time for the attitude promo. wahey!
Lots and lots and lots of trains to grow out, i cant wait for this to become a perpetual grow!
Im gunna kick off the clones a.s.a.p to select a mother +1 to grow out first, and give the rest away to mates, start growing out the seeds 3 weeks apart and run out these free seeds for fun. I sure do have a lot to choose from.

Is there anybody that can answer my questions, i have asked Scotty as he seems to know waterfarms best but hasnt seen my question i dont think.

I am gunna do a waterchange and go over to flower nute ratios.
Im using Bloom & Micro , 9 Litres in reservoir(2gal)
Current PPM is around 600ppm but reservoir 1/2 full.
They arent showing any signs of deficiency and look a healthy green, maybe the PE could be darker (more N) as the one in soil is a little darker.
So what PPM should i start them off with, 4 days since 12/12. Im very lost.
Gunna feed my ones in soil some enzymes as im sure some roots have died due to letting the soil dry out too much. Would giving it to the waterfarms be of any use?

I could be wrong but if you are currently at 600 PPM then wouldn't you wanna be around 800 PPM when you change out the rez? And then go up from there after a week. I'm not much help on this

It is what inspired me to grow the way i do so i owe everything to Scotty to be honest.
Most of my knowledge is from him and a select few.

14 Days Since 12/12 switch!
Pineapple Express in the waterfarm has shot off and overtaken all of the others! The serrated parts of the leaf are curling up, mg def?
PE in soil is coming along nicely and have lots of growth from it!
Smile is a BEAUTY and is pushing along great!
OG Kush #18 has very long nodes and hasnt really produced a lot of undergrowth
LSD is very stretchy and has been pushing upwards very quickly, think i had a pH issue with her.
Blue Widow is by far the most Indica plant of the bunch. VERY short and compact.

I will be taking clones later on today, as many as i can and then pick the best for mothers!
Will be germing some BB Blue Cheese and TGA Cheese Quake seeds later. Woohoo

Loooking goood bro! Still here, my shits been dead lately too. Screen looks perfect. Trim the shit out of under the canopy, in small buds and all leaves. No sense in wasting energy on popcorn and nows the time to get rid of it.

Taken a total of 24 clones
7 x Pineapple Express#1 (waterfarm)
6 x Pineapple Express#2 (soil)
3 x Smile
2 x Blue Widow
3 x LSD
3 x OG Kush #18



As you can tell, some clones are very very small, maybe only 1"inch in size.
Expecticting maybe 6 to root.

All were snipped off, dipped in clonex and places straight in the potting soil which has been watered with half pint of water with 2 drops of supathrive.

I will be misting with tap water.

Oh SHIT!, just realised, i never pH downed my tap water, which is 7.9pH!
What should i bring it down to? Obviously using some Micro nutrient to lower it.

Easy all, just a quick update, looking for a bit of advice!

So I am running the Lucas Formula in both, with Plagron Root once in veg and & flip, Plagron Enzymes at the same time. Halo Harpins have been foliar fed once at flip and once 2 weeks in.
My PPM in my waterfarms is stable around 1000PPM. No signs of nute burn of def due to no res change at flip.
My ones in soil seem a bit "paler" compared to the waterfarms and on my last plain watering the run off was around 800ppm.
Fed today with 1000PPM solution and will feed water in 2 days, and here comes my question.

In 4 days time, permitting my plants seem greener, i want to up the nutes again, but this time add Bloombastic.
Saying 0:8:16 Lucas formula ratios, would i simply add the BloomBastic ON TOP of these nutes, or would i lower the amount of GH Bloom?

As to the nutes question, thats a tough one but if I was to be introducing a new bloom nute then certainly at first I would reduce my bloom I already am using. too much of a good thing is bad! I would look around before taking my advice though- I would have to trash your grow with silly advice! It seems logical though and I would do that.
I would DEFINETLY reduce the ph for your clones, do you have any ph down? otherwise a small amount of sodium bisulfate- that should bring it down a bit.

As to the PE, is she a nice strain to grow out? I have been avoiding it just because of the name really, everyone who grows it seems to like it. It does look like a strain with a pretty high yield but is it robust?

Ottermunky; PE is good! Don't remember much of the stone and stuff from my mates crop but as far as I got with it she's very vigorous and prone to mutanting, loves a shit ton of nitrogen and can eat like a bitch, oh and smells a hell of a lot in veg and flower. XD

Little Update!

Plants are looking a bit hungry!
Gave the ones in compost a feeding of 2litres water ,3ml Micro - 6ml Bloom - 1.5ml BLOOMBASTIC

I need to pay more attention to the ones in the waterfarm, they are growing huge buds and drinking water too quick and i cannot keep up.
Need to figure out a stealthy way of storing water, maybe thole big 5litre water bottles, 4 of those should be enough for a few days watering.
Gunna do a res change today aswell.

If all my plants are dead then i know ive fucked up somewhere.

The BB Blue Cheese seed has sprouted and a few of my clones have rooted!
The Cheese Quake seed unfortunately didnt make it due to damaged tap root so will chuck in another seed & G13 Sour AK too me thinks.

Easy all!
Just thought i would give you all a half way update!
I finally performed a res change on the Pineapple Express #1 after i noticed the leaves getting a little yellow and i noticed some rust/burn spots on some of the yellowing leaves.
I reckon it is a combination of Nitrogen def, Magnesium Def, and then being burnt when it drank all the water and the last 2litres must have been super concentrated.
Either way, have performed a res change & Fed it;

23ml Micro (i think) - 28ml Bloom - 8ml Bloombastic - Dash of Epsom salts - 2ml Down
5.9pH 1000PPM (x0.5)....If PPM goes down tomorrow before lights on i will up the nutes +200ppm.

PE#1 Burn or Def?



Now...compare that to the one in soil!
Im not sure if its a different Pheno, or down to this one being in compost, but it deffinately is smaller, shorter, and more indica looking, whereas the other seams to be more sativa with longer internodes.
However, both are STINKY STINKY STINKY whores!

Oh my Oh my.....SMILE! I bloody love you!
This plant is just bloody amazing, it has been chucking out pistils since way before the flip.
It grew fast and bushy, filling the screen nicely.
As soon as i flipped the switch it started budding up very very quickly and i can see how its all going to fatten up and fill out!
I fed it a light dose of Bloombastic yesterday (along with all my other whores ), and within 24 hours the buds had a massive surge in resin production, and the whole plant just looked like it had been in a sauna! It was so sticky and smelly it was unbeleivable!
Deffinately going to do so side my side test on clones with bloombastic to see the differene it makes!

I have also noticed 2 things, Some of the lower leaves turned a lighter shade of green, with al almost yellowy/orange tint to it, which i think was just a case of under feeding which should be sorted out in the next day or so.
However the second thing i have noticed is that those same leaves have now developed a sort of purple tint to the tips and on the serated bits of the lead, the underside of those leafs looks like it may have a bit of a purple colouring.

Next up we have OG Kush #18.
Dont really know what to say about this strain really. the first failed to germ, and the second had teething problems, started growing a bit funny but caught up a fair amount.
However, the buds just seem very small and spaced out, and cant even make out any distinctive smell.... We will see what comes of this one.

Now, im poleasantly surprised with the Blue Widow.
I grew her out previously under LED and it gren very short and bushy,and then stretches a bit in flower then packs on dense buds.
which i got again on this grow, except the buds are gunna be a hell'of'a'lot bigger
Smells bloody amazing, a very distinctive "sharp" smell which im guessing is Whitw Widow, followed by sweet undertones from Blueberry! YUM! I know its Dinafem but i think this is a nice personal smoke, as the yeild isnt great but taste is out of this world!
Got some nice purpling on the fan leaf stems, so i hope this one turns a deep colour on me!
Going to do a first res change tomorrow and hit it with 900PPM as it seems to be a very light feeder.

looking real tasty there TD! I can't help you on the burn thing ut perhaps next time you do a rs change add a little liquid silicon. add less than it says on the bottle though- it says a ml per litre but I put about 5ml in an 8litre res. might help, its good for cell production and is good for your plant either way. hth

Day 38
....well time just flies by and things are coming along nicely.
For those of you following (if any at all) heres a little update for you all.

In the last week i have been abroad for a few days, lost a few clones but hardly any rooted anyway.
I have 3 Pineapple Express #1 and 3 Pineapple Express #2, 1 tiny tiny Smile clone formed a "knuckle" and rootes through whilst i was away, but it shared a pot with a "G13 Sour AK" seed so got yanked out today and repotted into its own big pot.
Oh yea, before i went away, i knew 3 days without watering clones in a little tray would kill em so i had to put 2-3 clones in a pot. They are all repotted now though and fingers crossed i didnt damage the roots too much. They will bounce back that is for sure!
Im just more happy than anything i saved a Smile clone!

My Big Budha Blue Cheese seed is onto its 2nd node.

G13 Sour AK showing first true leaves poking out.

I have to say, i am so far VERY dissapointed in TGA Subcools Cheese Quake seeds. Both have failed to properly germ on me and same thing happened more of less.
Tap root grew a bit, then stopped and the head would be stuck in the seed.
The last one gre up above the soil a bit but it wouldnt break through the seed shell and it then died. After opening up the shell i noticed that the tips of the baby leaves had mould on the end, like grey/green mould.
I am going to give 1 more seed a go, if it fails im gunna see about getting my money back.
Oh, these are the FIRST 2 seeds i have had fail germ on me, ever! So i know my germing techniques are fine.

As you can see, i am attempting to get my perpetul grow up and running but these fookin seeds keep setting me back.

I have quite a few seeds to choose from as some of you may know.

I think i might germ 4 Dutch passion AutoBluberry seeds and do a "Auto Hash Run".....you know! Turn the whole harvest of auto's into some awesome hash!

Anyway......Heres how my garden is looking at 38 Days....
Please tell me what you all think, i really have no clue how long they have left, when to flush, or anything...

This lady is an absolute beast! She has packed on so much weight it is unbeleivable! Those buds are rock hard and oozing with resin! Hmmm! Stinky bitch too!

This lady isnt as bulky as her waterfarm sister, but i am sure she will fill out. All the succounding leaves are covered in resin so she may be the super potent one! Id say she will take 2 weeks longer than the waterfarm.






Blue Widow
Well...i did first res change late into flowering, the other day actually, so i think the plant was sufferent a bit.
It is now on a new res with fresh nutes so should see it perk up in the next day or two.
Smells bloody gorgeous, very chemmy and sharp.

Bloody stretchy and late flowering, very Sativa! I think i have burnt the tops a little bit but i have nowhere to let it grow.
Ive pulled the tops over a little to the side, hoping they wont get burnt as much now.

Hey Tdooda.. I dont see any deficancys. However I do see some heat stress and light burn. other then that your going to be fine you can fine tune and make adjustments on your next grow..
