Hey lads. Recently I got stoned and it lead to carpentry. I built this cabinet out of a wall unit from the 80's. It's made of particle board, was all warped and falling apart b/c it was held together with wooden pegs.. Here's pics. Just put that seedling in the bottle, I know I need to block light from getting @ the roots just haven't done it yet.

Costs: tube of silicone, roll of duct tape, hinges, latches... $20 Rest was particle board/OSB/MDF that was lying around the house. Fans and lights have been in a box forever.
Right side is flower, left is utility, veg, and a box to hold my blower. I took out the TV shelf and put a back and front on to create the flower chamber. Then I put a shelf into the left side to seperate chambers, and built a box for my blower and a lighttrap leading into the flower chamber. Airflow goes into utility, then flower, then through the pipe (which will be a big carbon filter with plumbing elbows on both ends) into veg chamber, then through another carbon filter which attached to the hole in the fan box, which then blows half out of the box through another light trap, and recirculates the other half to be filtered again. 1 extension cord goes in, and no light leaks except for on the front doors.
That's what I need help with. At first I made a border out of sound damping material (same shit covering the pipe) that made the opening smaller. You could still see tiny pin points of light if you looked side-on at the door crack. So I ripped it off and tried to seal it with little strips of the fat mat right between the door and the frame, which you can see in the third picture. Again you can see pin points if you look at it just right. I can't use weather stripping or anything thicker than whats on there between the frame and the door or it doesn't close properly and I'll be warping my door. Flower chamber will be even harder + more important to light proof the door and the damn veg chamber is beating me. So how do you guys light proof your doors?
