Stepped my game up. Time to flower.

When the light comes on I check the bottom of a pot and it is usuall pretty dry, only about 20% or so, of the original bottom water left.

I hope this does not happen.
So far the look ok, 2 wks from seeds and 4.5 in Veg
Took them to Flower 12/12 yesterday.
Plants are about 20 inches.

Yeah your roots look nice and white.. My worries are the same my roots staying too wet and causing rot. I was hoping my plants roots would eat up that water fast enough. I just keep my watering cycle a little less than I would of without the excess water. Everything so far is ok. Flushing out the drum, lines and keeping buckets maintained is more than the old flood and drain.. So we will see if the outcome and the nice feel this set up gives the room makes it all worth it in the long haul. So far I like what I've gotton..

word, im glad to see there are a few of us on here who use this system. makes it easier to get different ideas/opinions on things

Hey!! This is my first, but tried an experiment (One I read)
I tied the tops at about 120deg on 2 of the plants for a week.
Ones I thought might be male as they were so big (I hope and pray ther female.
Well, each one Grew 7 possible bud sites, that grow about 4 inches past the center cola.
They look like upside down Xmas trees.
Not sure this is good or bad.
Will try to keep all informed

thanks for the compliments guys. this is my first grow and i think im starting off on the right track. they really are starting to look good. the 2 farthest left plants i topped. and the 2 main stems are starting to finally protrude above the canopy. ive seen a little bit of nutrient burn on a few of my leaves. i am using botanicares pure blend pro bloom now. they were on pure blend grow durin veg. so i pumped 10 gallons out of my res today and put 10 fresh gallons in. droppin the ppm to 1120. they were at 1600 ppm right after they transplanted so ganna give them a loser dosage with some fresh water in the res. but not much burn really, at least i know they are getting max nutes. ganna give them a day or 2 of 1120 and then gradually step up to 1400-1600 ppm. ph is constant 5.8 thats no big deal. cant wait to start seeing flowers

wow! That has got to be a 5gal bucket, and if it is, that fan leaf is enormous! GJ!

nah no 5 gallon buckets here. they are 2 gallons. but yeah some of the fan leaves are like bigger than my head. i would take 3 of my hands spread out to fit over a few of the leaves. hope everyone is well. hoping to start seeing pistils soon
