Does anyone use stepwell I have been looking into there soil and just wanted to see if anyone has used it ?
I am currently using it for the 1st time....... including Stepwell's recommended additional products...... EM1 & Top Dressing Veg & Bloom. I have been using Advanced Nutrients & the Autopot system but wanted to see if this Stepwell supersoil was better (or easier to use). Still in veg stage with a Purple Kush strain and I am very impressed with the results so far.........the pic below shows the Purple Kush in a 1 gallon Air pruning pot (only 19 days since seed germination).....best results I have seen since starting growing a couple of years ago so I am a fan of this soil. Cant wait to see the end product.

Damn she looks real nice. What soil did u use before ? Hey didn’t get there extras. I have Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 for veg and there 2-8-4 for bloom. Q from stepwell says it goes real nice with stepwell. And have reccomended amounts I also guna use recharge as my microbial inoculate and some dynomyco for transplants to help with shock and with rhizosphere. But will be second grow only. Just in the books about to put to use. Any advice on this plan from an experience grower like yourself Wud be awesome ? Also what water are u using with stepwell ? If u use tap what how u prep it ? Do you ph ? Ifso to what ? And with what ?
Sorry for all questions

I installed a filter on my water supply.......removes most of the stuff you don't want like chlorine etc.......brand: Boogie Blue Plus. I pH the water to 6.5. This is highly recommended by Stepwell. You will need to get "pH Up & pH Down" to adjust the pH of the water. I am not familiar with Gaia Green so can't comment. If you are looking for a reliable pH meter, I would recommend Blue Labs brand. They are a little more expensive that most of the rest but very, very good in my opinion.
Also, I am going to transplant my Purple Kush from the 1 gallon air pruning pot (earlier pic I posted) to a 7 gallon pot (with Stepwell soil, of course) and will leave it in this pot for the duration of Veg and all of Bloom. the 7 gallon should be plenty big......maybe a 5 gallon would be better but not a big deal......... trial and error ;-)

I used paper towel for germination (3 days)........then used a peat pellet (3 days)........then transferred peat pellet to Solo cup (with Stepwell soil for 9 days).............then to 1 gallon air (with Stepwell soil).

That is pretty much same way I did it Iam at day 7 in solo cup now. Guna wait another 2 days then transplant into 1 gal plastic then let sit in that for about 7-10 days (approx 6-7 nodes /double size) then into 5 gal fabric pot for remainder of life. Top dress bloom ferts at Maybe week 3-4 of flower Topping first time in 1 gallon then 2nd time in 5 gallon
Then flower time about week later

What do u use to ph with in organic living soil. I heard ph up or down not good for microbes ?
I use General Hydroponics brand of pH Up & pH Down. I can't comment on if they are bad for microbes but I am only adjusting it a small bit.....from 7 to 6.5 because everything I have heard / read etc. suggest that 6.5 is a good pH number for soil........(coco coir is more like 5.5)

I came across a video of stepwell's that said with there soil you really dont need to worry about PH.

I found that odd. Seeing that everyone is talking about PH

I stopped adjusting pH of the water for my outdoor season grow (with Stepwell Soil) about 2 months ago and let the water settle at pH of 7.0
To be honest the plant looks great.............pic attached.
