Sterilite CFL Grow

Hi, fellow cannabis lovers. This is technically my second cabinet. My first one was in college and produced some nice bud. I did that on a super small budget so it wasn't anything nice to look at, but it did the job. This time around, I have a little bit more money, so i able to do it on a medium sized budget, still nothing too extravagant. I hope with any amount of luck, I'll get some nice buds.

Here's my cabinet, I added a lock on the front, just really for kicks (it's a flimsy plastic cabinet). It does help with keeping the doors closed, as they have a tendency to open.

I first took the rubber sealant paint and sprayed the inside to seal the cracks. It worked really well. I then painted the whole inside black to help with light leak. Even though I added reflectix on the inside, there are a few place i didn't put it, so hence the black paint.

I have a light fixture that takes a CFL with a mogul base. Right now I'm just starting with some small CFL's, but I'm also limited on space so I'm only going to veg for a couple weeks.

Here's my 2700k 125w CFL in my light fixture. I've read that these thing tend to heat up and I'm a little worried about heat. Any guidance would be appreciated. I have a carbon filter with 4''inline fan that I'm going to install once I start flowering. Will that be enough air movement?

I've started with some Liquid Karma and will start to add some veg nuets in about a week. This is my first time using Bontanicare, but I read some good things.

I still am new at this and learning everyday, any help and education passed down is always appreciated.

Thanks for Checkin out my grow. I'll update with some more pics when it's starts rollin'

Keep an eye on your temperatures on your first week or test run the cabinet to prevent any stress on your seedlings in the case of something not being in optimal conditions for the growth of your plants. (Humidity/Temps) What are the dimentions on that cabinet? Planing on some lst/topping/?

I also have a cabinet grow (link @ sign)

Dude your cabinet is sick!! The over/under veg/bloom is nice. I guess I could always get another one and stack it. I had to look up the dimensions, they are 36.5 " H x 18.8 " W x 20.9 " D. It filled up quick once I put the reflector in. I am still going to add a carbon filter and inline fan for when I bloom. I hope my aspirations are too high and I'll still have some room for some healthy buds, but I was a mack at Tetris was I was young so...I hopefully can figure it out...lol.

I am planning on super cropping and trying SOG. (Sorry if what I'm saying is not what it's called. I am new at this so I'm not sure if I'm using the right terminology) I want to top it to grow more buds and put a support system to keep them nicely exposed to the light. I'm just growing some bagseed right now, so I'm not sure of what to expect, but it's going to be a learning experience nonetheless.

Ill add some better pics of the whole set up in action once I start seeing some good progress, but here's what I have going so far.
