I haven't tasted any yet , but everything else looks identical in growth and density between the two tents...and I vegged & flowered these in the same tents...and BOTH tents are finishing out at about half volume on the dimmers,and half the wattage as normal, cause these plants got way too tall for my shed ! LOL

Very good I'm looking at getting some strips but i can get a better deal if i buy all the same spectrum. I'm still on hps so stretch is an issue for me but i don't mind ugly plants( that's all i can grow i've been told LOL) so i super crop them.

You could do OK with the same spectrum ...something close to 3000 or 4000K have been getting great results from a lot of folks lately...
And super cropping ,along with LST ,scrog screen maybe...Should be able to control the stretch with that...

cool i was looking at the 3000k. I would love to have a go at scrogging but I've got to grow between rental inspections so i veg then hide them then after inspection put em in flower then pull before next inspection LOL There are some pretty insane scrog yields on here!

What if you were to buy one light the same spectrum and another light with another spectrum and mixed them yourself. Do they run on different drivers? I'm sure you already thought about doing that? lol

If you're ever interested, I can show you how I made some nifty individual scrog screens that will move with the plant,one at a time :cool:

I could but I'm a tight arse lol can get 10 gen3 led strips at a discount but they all have to be the same spectrum i think i haven't asked though so i might just ask and i assume they would run on the same driver as long as they are the same current and voltage but again an email to the supplier may be in order, can never have to much info?

That would be cool i'm looking for a new house at the moment with big sheds i can hide my tents behind things as real estates generally don't look to hard at a shed full of crap, but i would still like the option to move them around if needs be.
