Still figuring things out (Newbie Grow) Super Lemon Haze

Not gonna be a full fledged Journal as this is already 5 wks into flower but who knows maybe I'll be inclined to start one on a few of the babies just startin veg here's a few pics I took 3 days ago these first are closer ups of the trichs.

Next here's big momma I'd say without the pot she's 3 1/2 ft tall? maybe closer to 4 lol.

Here's the four clones I took from her about 1 1/2 months worth of veg time before they and their mom went flower power mode XP and a shot of under to show the lst

Last but not least the babies and a Holy grail 69 I started about almost a week ago it's a bit farther along then this picture I'll post more later.

So I just happened to be up at my ladies nap time, and I shot a couple snaps of em some blurry as the camera couldn't focus in the dark lol some came out nice. In two days they will be at the end of wk9 she'll be cut down next monday for about a total of 9wks 3-5 days. Didn't take pics of the clones shown above yet camera died and I can't find the damn charger.... I know I can't do anything about it now but what's done is done while taking these picks the sun is up and from my a/c hood and ducting I can see a lil light invading my darkness. I fear that its slowed my babies down but they flowered without issue so maybe it wasn't enough for the plants to react...? any thoughts on that would be helpful also for the future how do I avoid the light leak? I have to throw scrubbed air out to keep the smell at bay and to double as heat exhaust. I'm at a loss for ideas anything would be helpful thanks. Here's the ladies lol I ramble

Below is the big momma buds were really weighin her down so I used some floral wire to support the stems where it was worst didn't want them snappin on me a wk from chop day lol. Oh and the first pic here the ducting just goes to that window that you can sorta see is covered up even with that bend the light is comin or at least somewhat visible. Maybe I should support the ducting higher would that help????

looks good mate, you should pull a good harvest, you have the purple/red stem thing going on, for years i hated that and never knew why i got it, 9/10 its down to grower error and its stressing the plants out, problem is so many things can cause this

once you work this out and keep the stems thick, green in veg and flower, your yield will start to double, it really makes that much diffidence but most growers will tell you its down to genetics because they have the same problem

Well I won't deny its probably like you said 9/10 chance I made some mistakes like I wrote up there I think I have a slight light leak that right there is enough to stress them a bit I'm sure. But I wonder whats actually causing the red striped/purply stems. I would love to double my yields Lmao! I'm sure following all you experienced growers will help though

I would love to share my experience with you Caanan18

ok that's start off with nutes, most growers over do it or give the plants the wrong amount of nutes, you want to aim for 1/2 strength nutes

you want to cover the main nutes npk, i give my plants 1/2 ml biobizz fish mix and 1-2ml biobizz bloom per ltr
next you want to cover the second trace nutes (Magnesium, Calcium) and then you have trace nutes cal-mag nutes covers this, add 1/2 ml per ltr

i also mix a tbsp of Epson salts in 10lts of soil before potting up ( gives the plant a boost)

start feeding the plant 2 week after potting up ready to flower

Yeah I've heard and can tell that SLH are really light feeders least seems to me. I was following a grower on youtube when I started out and surprisingly though he grew a diff strain worked out for me never burned the SLH did get N toxicity a couple times though. probably a combination of mistakes messing with the root nutrient uptake I'm sure.

So I checked up on your nutrient line looks interesting for certain. But I'm definitely learning more the more I research and look stuff up. Cal/Mag nutes seem to be one of the most used nutes out there glad I have mine lol.

I'm curious do you feed every watering? That mixing epsom salts into the soil sounds smart I was just gonna mix it into the water lol.

I find super lemon haze to be a heavy feeder, most plants will grow really well with tap water and the odd feed like most veg in a greenhouse and plants in the garden.
there a lot of growers that don't add nutes that grow weed and the ones that use loads, the best growers use 1/2 strength nutes all the way

Must be diff phenos then? cause and I'm sorry I use gallons but my hugest SLH in flower I think its a 10 gal+ pot only takes 1ml of gro 2ml of micro and 3ml of bloom/gal I use the Flora trio series from general hydroponics. I have a seedling/early veg plant going I think its a holy grail 69 from samsara seed company that's just throwing me off cause I'm underfeeding her which is very apparent as the lower four nodes of fan leaves have fallen off I saved that last set that fell just today from going quickly but its drank its water and the necrosis is still continuing. Top is looking ok but its only a matter of time so I'm uppin the nutes for her for certain Compared to my SLH clones that are decently into veg now are going to be taking just a lil more nutes then that seedling will lmao.

Oh I forgot to add that the top of the HG69 has a few nodes that are keepin her going not just a top node lol.

would be a good ideal to follow the chart and give them 1/2 strength nutes

Thanks! lol but damn that's much stronger then what I did give them all flower, and today is the last day the girls will get light. Choppin them monday

Not so certain on the rest of the nutrition mainly P and K but N definitely couldn't go much if any higher on my SLH unless I'm stressing them way too much or something that caused them to drink too much N too quickly cause I got The Claw a few times through this grow a lil bit during mid flower but I backed off a lil on the N best I could lol.

I really do appreciate you going through the effort to look up the nutes I use. I think the pheno I have of the SLH is a very light feeder I think that half nute mark will be probably perfect for the rest of the plants I'm starting other then SLH of course lol. Got that HG69 I mentioned earlier and I started a kripplings Incredible Bulk and a Money Maker by Strain Hunters both are Indicas HG is a Sativa if I remember right lol.
