I got this 4 week old flowering lemon drop bud plant, I say this because the seed came from some lemon drop bud I had. It's been doing good so far .Just looking to see if anyone knows about the timing for the lemon drop flowering and if looks OK, also way there is no smell yet-- I have it on 12/12-- humidity and Ph levels are fine - am using CFL lights and I have changed the lighting temp for flowering-
Can anyone help???

As you get more experienced with growing, you'll realize that what I'm about to tell you is 100% true.
Not all strains will smell during flowering. Some strains don't smell at ALL during flowering actually.. take my Afghani #1 from Sensi Seeds for example. She didn't start smelling like bud until just recently.. and she's just a week from being fully ripe for harvest. So, she's a good example of one of the few strains that won't smell until it gets far enough into flowering.
It depends on the strain.. each strain is unique in its own way.
So again, some strains won't ever smell during growth.. and may only begin to smell like it should after about 2 or 3 weeks worth of curing. While other strains might smell from the moment they begin to flower.. all the way through flowering. Then, some strains only smell just right at the beginning of flowering (when the plant exposes its sex to you).. then after the first week or two into flowering.. the smell might go away.. but then it might come back once the plant gets further into flowering (more mature).
So again, just because it doesn't smell like weed.. doesn't mean that your doing anything wrong.
A lot of noobies worry about this same thing.. and they often kill their plant or just give up totally on growing because they think its because they're doing something wrong. But, like I just explained.. every strain is different.. and you just happen to have one of those strains that might not begin smelling nice until its further into flowering. Let me put it this way, the plant will do what it wants.. when it wants.. and how it wants. Let it do its thing.. and you'll be happy you did by week #8 or week #9 of flowering.
good luck and peace.
