New soil is all I can suggest. Pull up the girl, wash her roots and inspect them for damage/rot/bugs. Then put her in some light mix soil blend and carefully feed her with high N rate. Honestly since its this early she might not be worth the struggle

Alright Ill try that. Its deff. worth the struggle to me simply because I am trying to run off of just what I have for first grow. Once I can get everything right with what I have im gonna start putting a little money into it. I would like to be more knowlegeable on what im doing right and wrong before I buy some owesome seeds or soil and fuck that up too.

hey guys just a quick update for anyone with the same problem. I listened to sacro and did a complete restart with new soil water and this time i used about 30% perlite with miricle grow potting mix and she is already looking more healthy. The leaves that were looking wilted are reaching for the "sun" again!! Im gonna post a picture tomorrow most likely when its a little more obvious but I believe I knocked out whatever the problem was.


ALSO! when I did the flush and started with a new soil I noticed that there was a green resin in the small pot that I was using before. thinking this could be some sort of algi or something that was messing up grow.

u need a bigger pot, with holes in it, the roots need oxygen.
shouldn't use clear plastic, roots dont like light contact
for soil i personally prefer organic potting soil (which already has perlite)
throw in some dolomite for cal and mag.
but using potting soil you take on responsibility of delivering all the correct nutrients through supplements


really they look to young for nutrients
but if u had a nitrogen supplement id say give a lil (like 1/4 the recommended dose (per gallon)) and just like a 1/2 cup of water of it.

ph in soil does matter, unless you have a stabilizer in the soil. but yes nutrients can either raise or lower ph.
and cannabis loves 6-7 in soil

That plant is ready to soar. Give it a new (bigger, non-transparent) pot and decent soil and you will see vast improvements in just a few days I promise. Good pots are not expensive and can be re-used. Get square pots if you can since they are more space-efficient. And roots need access to air. Pots without holes in cause the soil to become too wet and little air circulation to the roots will cause root rot, which will ultimately destroy your plant.

Damn that's man really helpful info on my next step!! I'm going to the store Monday to get pots! The plastic thing I have it in right now has 2 little holes in it to drain but didn't think about air.

I adjust PH in my ladies .. think about this if you will. What would happens if you used one of those favorite nutrients and that shit ended up dropping your PH down around 4.5 or lower. You mean to tell me that wouldn't kill your plant, and or cause some sort of nute lockout?? lol

my ph reader wasnt working one time, and didnt realize that my water with nutrients got down to 4.5.
again didnt realize till i watered and a day later they looked like shit.
soooo many problems arose bc of improper ph

I'm always at 4.5-4.7 immediately after I mix my solution...and yes, plants will not like you if they are fed with it immediately-i've tried.

That initial reading of ph immediately after your solution is mixed is misleading. When I'm done making a fresh batch of nutes my ph is 4.7. If I wait 20-24hrs it stabilizes to 5.8 and stays there. If your mixing your nutrients and adjusting ph immediately that isn't an accurate reading of your ph.

If you mix nutes, adjust ph, and water the ph of your nutrient solution surrounding your rootzone will raise by the hour. If I adjust my ph to 5.8 in a couple hours it's over 6. In 24hrs it will be almost 7.

So I try to mix at least 18hrs before I use it and I don't add any ph up or down. After 18-24hrs your ph should stabilize and then it's ok to adjust ph.

This is of course in my experience. Adding any ph up or down actually screws everything up for me considering my solution will stabilize to 5.8 in 24hrs without adding any ph up or down.

I havent even thought about adding nutes Ive just set it in soil and let her grow. I know miricle grow is heavy on nutes as is am I okay leaving it to grow? if not at what point should I add nutes? What is it that I should add? Im sorry I know this is very general info that I can find anywhere but im just trying to get all my info from a single valid sorce.

Hey guys small change but I made a ghetto contraption to kinda make the closet smaller. Figured it would help keep the light more direct. Ik white would be best but working with what I got! Prolly gonna grab a pot for her tomorrow and will update thanks for the help so far peeps!!!

If your in miracle grow only water when you abosolutely have to. Evertime you water it releases nutes, so watering say 3 times a week as compared to 2 times a week adds up. The less you can water the better.

If your tap water comes out with a ph between 6-7 your good to go with miracle grow. The stuff is designed to be used with it.

Alright good to know. I ill cut watering back and keep an eye on them. I am hoping my tap ph is appropriate cuz I havent been able to check ha. Ill get some ph tests today from the store.

Hey guys so just picked up some new soil and a pot and I'm courious with the natural organic soil am I going to need nutes as well? If so is there any tht I could get local tht would work.

So I got a chance to go to the store today. Bought some new perlite that supposed to make it a little more airey. got some organic soil that I uploaded a picture of. also got a nice pot that drains. Just ut her in her new soil and watered. I need help with nutes if anyone with knowlege could help me out. Am I going to NEED them? if so what is it exactly that im going to need.
