Stone Knitter's first CFL grow!

I think those are called "Y" sockets. Haha! You can get them at Home Depot and any other hardware store. Just look wherever they have sockets on display. As for the black socket... I'm not sure! It's just black with a couple wires comming out of it! I just let the BF deal with that lol! A lamp kit wouldn ve done the same thing! But both the black socket and the "Y" sockets were found at the same place. Just ask where all their sockets are in the store. And my main plants had been vegging for two months. Although... I should've probably waited only till the plants were two feet high to start flowering them instead of going by time frame? That will be something that I'm going to try with the next grow.

Thank you Crackbaby! :-D

THIS MORN'S PICTURE REPORT!

Plant A is the first plant on the right, the shortest. Plant B is the one that's skyrocketing for the ceiling!! lol

Plant B is starting to lean by itself!! Haha!

Plant C, The Fortune Teller. Also my lady in a 4" pot that I keep for experimental purposes. She's two weeks younger then A & B, but 1 week ahead in flowering!

I've been suspecting this for a while and a part of me for the longest time has been like... naaaaah!! Can't be! But looking at the pictures over and over again, it's becoming more and more apparent that I have sativas! Oh yes! I've got sativas.... growing in the closet!

Will I need a new ceiling in there at the end of this journey? lol

So... I got some lady sativas and I'm dying to take cuttings now. Maybe this w/e I'll manage to setup something for cuttings (likely not, but I dare dream). It would be great for the outdoors this spring. In the meantime, I've started looking into buying seeds after this grow. Strain: small compact INDICA!! lol!

haha, the way i see it u can grow a plant anyway u want it, sativa or indica, u can trim, Lst, ScrOG, SOG, or even throw your plants under 12/12 from seedling, if your plants do get too tall ull probably have to Lst...
and you can take cuttings any time you want, but they will take longer to root in the flowering stage, u can reveg your plants after harvest, and take clones then also

I was actually reading about LST and it's really kewl!! I really want to try it now with my next grow!

Here are todays pics!

Today I'm working on rearranging things in the closet, trimming some lower leaves, maybe take some cuttings, etc. I've managed to install the shop lights and turning them on myself (yay!! Good girl!!).

haha nice job with the shop lights.. just remember u can keep those lights within an inch of your plants..
.. Lst is great especially if you have minimal vertical space.. what do you have set up for your cuttings?

Nothing yet! Haha! I might have to keep them in the bathroom until I can get something setup in my desk. But I'm just itching to do it. lol We know someone out of town who could make good use of them! ;D

So I've finally tied down the tops of my main plants and I see now an opportunity to install two more arrays of CFL. I'll have to see if I can squeeze it in my budget this week. I can't get my tubes to their full brightness so that is causing me lots of grief! I'll have to get the man to help me out on that. lol!

I'm really hoping that it'll take only 8 weeks for flowering (btw, these are at two weeks now): That would mean harvest right around my BDAY!!! But who knows... I'll have to wait and see! I'm expecting more of a 10 week flowering period realisticly speaking.

Thank you Crackbaby! :-D

When I was taking landscaping, we learned how to use a plant identification key for finding out what type of grass is growing on ones lawn. You can use an identification key for a lot of other plants as well. And I really wish there was something like that for Weed!
I think I've got sometype of haze growing. But how to know for sure? I tried researching 10-lobed marijuana strains with no luck. Aww... the joys of bagseed! lol

When the leaves of the main cola curl downward (as seen in the pictures of Plant B), is it just a growth habit or is actually a symptom of something?

A fan leaf of Plant A! It's got 11 lobes (one is on top of the other so you can really see it) and it doesnt fit into my book completely! haha! that's how big it is!
