how are the plants man? didnt you have some lil ones
Yes mate, got 3 Killer Kush in suspended animation lol....6 weeks in veg and they're still lil. I kinda wanted it that way though, wanted to keep them small until my veg cab was ready for them and then give them a kick start with the new lights, bigger pots, Mammoth P and poss some Triacontanol.
I *think* it doesn't matter how long they stay small, it just matters that they get bigger before the flip, whether that takes a few weeks or 3 months! I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong
A couple of yellow leaves on them despite the fact that I've been feeding them BioBizz Grow and a bit of Formulex. Stems seem to be thickening up nicely though, had a fan blowing gently on them to help with that. Overall they look good though, despite their current lack of height!
Oh and I topped them...the day before I had a discussion with
@Randomblame about topping/FIM'ing. Gonna try to do without a net and use some ties to hold the branches horizontal when they start to get a bit bigger. The veg cab will have slats that the pots sit on which I will use to secure some ties to. Also the base will have a space between it and the slats which I'll use to slide in an electric blanket if I need to increase temps if we have a cold snap. I don't want to have the rads on all day to keep the whole room heated, even if I'm not home!
Hopefully there is some logic to my plans that'll work out
I've not had any weed for a couple of months. Totally pissed off with dealers etc plus I felt like having a while without weed or alcohol. Obvs with dealers you have to take what they have but I'd rather grow what suits me and my depression etc. That is something I'm still exploring. A strong Haze strain doesn't necessarily help me if I'm feeling down and that is the kind of thing many dealers have.
Something more Indica, less THC and a bit of CBD might be better for me, and of course a decent flavour. In the end I hope to have 3-4 different strains that suit my particular needs on any given day. After all, I'm growing for me and my mental health so it's important to try different strains until I find what suits.
Cheers to all for stopping by. As always feel free to make comments/suggestions.
