This "electricity thieves" are extremly usefull for parallel wiring especially if you wire more than two strips in parallel. They are rated to 600v and 105°C and easy to use. All you need to do is to insert the main wire into the "thieve" and crimp the flat plug to the branching wire just like you see on the screenie.

Thanks for that Rb. I saw these before on eBay and wasn't sure if they'd be useful but now I see they'd be really good for adding another strip, as you said. :)

Just a quick update...lights are coming along and here are a couple of pics. Once the lights are finished I'll hang the frame and fit the mylar/blackout material. The end is nigh! :)
The big switch on will be tomorrow I think, rather than today. Really happy with how it's going and enjoying the challenge more than I thought I would. Learned quite a bit which will make the flower light build a little easier.

It'll be good to know my plants are getting quality light so my future grows will be much better, I'm sure of that!

Haha yeah Tabasco is my secret ingredient....it's the new Mammoth P/Mega Crop/Triacontanol rolled into 1 :D

Cheers mate, I'm happy with it so far.......lol those "gurus" on fuk420 are probably still cramming their grooms with half a dozen CMH units and claiming LED's don't grow weed, especially mid power ones!
I was reading about a guy who is building a rocket for the purpose of proving that the Earth is flat......apparently he's a fuk420 member :D

Hello mate, I've got my old blurples still in the flowering space - currently vegging the 3 Killer Kush - but next up I'm gonna build a strip light rig with 2 x Samsung FB24B's 3000K. I'll do that while the KK's are vegging in the new cab.(: :leaf:

Yeah, I've gone strip crazy! I'm not sure about recycling the blurples...I probably will at some point but they gave me such a hard time I've been emotionally scarred for life with em I think LOL. Once my new lights are up and running I'll take a screwdriver to em and have a look inside, see what can be used.
Would be interesting to try a cob or 2 in the future. For now though I want to keep things simple and just get a decent grow under my belt. I've got zero stock atm and haven't had a smoke for 3 months! Once I get to know these lights and how to use them to their best I'll be up for some experimenting :)
