Glass here is way overpriced at the gas stations. I spent $6 on a glass bowl (Rubber grommit type) and it broke literally the same night. I just pulled a rip and went to pull the bowl out, but only half of it came. It just broke. A friend bought one, and it broke because he stuck a Qtip down the stem (I told him a DOZEN TIMES not to go there, but he wouldn't listen)

But, it's convienient, so every now and then I'll buy a spoon bowl from them (I go through those things really quick, I'm a klutz)

It's like those cheap lighters you get at gas stations vs. a bic. A bic stops working when it runs out of fuel, the cheaps ones stop when something breaks (and 2/3 of the fuel is still left). You get what you pay for.

we have a gas station here that has an entire wall and show case full of over 300 pipes,hookas and all,the prices are ridiculously low.I got a beautiful ceramic bong for $30 i thought it was worth 50,and most hand pipes are under 20

Funny about a week after I first posted in this in november I was gonna go get an arizona from a convenience store. Walked in and they had like 20 bongs all GonG diffused, I picked up a tree perc beaker for 50 bucks. Its already been knocked around alot and nothing has broken,but for 50 bucks a 13 inch perc is a sick deal.

I use this more than my better quality bong, just cause it hits so good.

I think gas stations have always loved potheads..think about it...were not like the stupid ass drunk people comin in and startin shit, and we buy a lot of munchiefood/drink, which is business, also what you said, we buy lighters and grinders, ect.

I also think america and the media is (once again) warming up to cannabis.

When I was a teenager I always had to steal the cheapo lighters from people, I know exactly what you're talking about. I fuckin hated that shit!
