occupy wall street is just a cash grab for the people who started it. Just like charities. Occupy wall street will accomplish nothing except make the people who started it a whole lot of "donations" that they get to keep, sad to say it but its true, the people behind it are going to come out on top and the people occupying are going to still be piss poor.

You need to e-mail your local MLA, tell them you will not accept this outrage, and tell the MLA if they don't do something about it you won't be voting for them ever. If they don't respond, I suggest if you have time, make a basic flyer talking about what this law is going to do and in it ask people to contact their MLA about it. Post it up EVERYWHERE you can. Specially at popular bus stations/stops. That will get things moving. In Canada we have a website from when they tried net neutrality, it informs you of any bad internet related laws, and has the option of sending a letter to your riding explaining your position. They want votes, and they SHOULD want to do what the majority of the people in the riding want.

dude the french are fucken awsome. and i do use my mouth people just think the internet and cell phones are the only ways to get views across. yeah it sucks they want to do this. but get real, all of a sudden net is censored and everone shuts their minds because they dont no what the mouth was made for. this day and age allot of people view technology as the only way to get stuff out.
Dude the french suck.. And you sorta did prove me point on what I was talking about. BUT! technology is the best way to get stuff out, you can reach people from everywhere with a message that alot of people are ignorant about, and have no idea is even going on. Seriously? your going with your argument that the mouth is the best form of communication? Granted I agree its the most basic, but nowadays its protests en masse.

Occupy wall street is about getting the message across. Its not a cash grab? Who the fuck do you think you are, or have the balls to even say that. If you knew what it was about youd be infuriated. Its the feds fault were in this mess. If you understood economics you'd know the middle class is getting royally screwed. Granted it won't accomplish anything big, but the protest movement is just about spreading the message and getting more of the public become more aware of whats happening. I'm a republican, I'm not gonna camp my big ass in a park, wtf am I homeless fuck that. And BTW alot of the post ups and shit your talking about has been around for ages. If you've actually been in New York, I havn't been for 6 years (live in australia now). YOUD KNOW that such posters advocating corporate greed, and the fact that some huge multinational corporations pay less tax then you have in your wallet. Maybe you should learn the facts, before coming out against something thinking theyre just hippies.

Granted I don't agree with some stuff they talk about, like how college education is a scam. I think thats bullshit, there might not be jobs in america, but its a recession what can you do. Theyre furious at the inequality of wealth that 1% own 40% of the wealth in the world. Thats what theyre angry about and what theyre protesting about. Its about a message not a cash grab, you and I are lucky to live in much better off countries (Canada, Australia).

lol I'm not even going to read your rant. Regardless of how it started, the people who started it are making MAD money and they're going to walk away with a LOT more than they came in with. You're just angry that you never thought about these "donations". People who work charities who receive donations make a LOT of money. This is a "worthy cause" and people are donating out the ass to them. They are taking their cut.

edit: don't be surprised if you hear more "worthy causes" from the same group of people in the future.

Cause censorship works in other countries. Theres no way anybody could even think about using a proxy to get around that!
the difference is that in the U.S. we r supposed to have freedom of speech and freedom of the press. it wont work here becuz we have rights unlike most of the other countries of the world.

Umm do you have proof to say that they get to keep the money? Are you retarded? Im a noc manager man I make bank, Ive got nothing to protest about. I'm angry at people like you who don't know the struggle of whats happening. People like you who have no interest in whats happening, since you sit in a much better country where your rights aren't as fucked around with.

Your just like the average american not giving a crap about the shit american companies inflict on the world, and their own citizens. Seriously.

hahahahahahahaha you do realize nothing says anywhere that they CAN'T keep the money? They aren't a charity, there are no rules, its just a website setup to take donations. Believe what you will, but they WILL walk out with more money than they had to begin with.

lewl my personal views on the world is OK. It's very hypocritical of someone to start a protest about the 99% and how they don't make a lot of money, then go around and take mass donations. I guarantee you they get donations daily from all around the world. All they do is spend a little money for food for them and maybe get a port a potty, I dunno, I haven't been keeping up. I wouldn't be surprised if the people who started it bought a new car after all this. Or they could just invest into other causes that they want to bring to light. The word donation is used very loosely now a days, occupy wall street is the biggest bum rally ever.
